Ordered Big Bang Theory, 5th season, on line.got email from BB only available for pick up. Chose Marysville OH.got another email not available, chose another location. Called and talked to BB rep, told to wait, it would become available, they would let me know before deadline if Marysville, OH store did not get so I could pick up at another store.on 12/4, got a cancellation notice.Could not get it resolved w/ customer service.BB used deceptive cyber monday practice.anyone else in for a class action lawsuit.BB you have lost my business.spent over $10,000 w/ you this last year.Lisa Smith, VP Customer Service.please contact me.

Best Buy won't back extended warranty

I bought a 47" LG TX. in 2007, I bought an extended warranty for four years. The TV required two parts during the warranty period. One part came in and the other came in wrong. They installed the right one and had to reorder the correct one. I bought another extended warranty for one year at this time. I tried numerous times to get the second part and now they say my extended, extended warranty has expired. I have been on the phone with them for an hour and got passed up to PUBLIC DEFENDER JIM. Who he says he has no boss. He refused to help at all. THANKS FOR NOTHING BEST BUY

BestBuy.com Dropped the Ball | Best Buy review from New Haven, Connecticut

I ordered the uDraw GameTablet with uDraw Studio for Nintendo Wii via BestBuy.com. Shipping was not available to my home, so I was forced to select a location for in-store pickup. Before driving an hour each way, I called the store that I selected via their website, only to find out that it was a Mobile BestBuy (mall kiosk), not an actual store, and store pick-up was not an option for that item. I called Customer Service, they apologized for the error, and said they'd ship my purchase to my home. A couple days later, I received a notification that the item is on backorder and would ship by December 10th. This morning (12/10/12), I received an email that my order has been cancelled. I am pissed that BestBuy.com allows you to order items for same day in-store pickup from locations that not only don't have the item in stock, but don't even carry the item ordered. Weeks later, I am forced to pay more than triple my initial purchase price to order from one of their competitors, because the item turned out to be in high demand. Whereas, if I had ordered from one of their competitors initially, I would have had this product in my hands already, at a much lower cost. I will never buy anything from BestBuy.com again.

Shady Employies | Best Buy review from Mason, Ohio

Last week, I went to to Best Buy to buy the new iPod Touch (5th Gen) specifically in Yellow. They were offering a -$15 msrp ($285.99). I picked up a piece of paper and gave it to the Mobile section to pick up my product. On the sheet of paper, it specifically states Yellow iPod Touch (5th Gen) 32GB. The employ randomly grabs one and rushes me to the pay for it. While he's scanning the product and doing his thing on the cash register, I ask him if the iPod is Yellow. He does not respond, seemingly ignoring me. I ask again louder. Still no response. I ask a third time. After he asks me to pay and he responds " Sorry we are all out of stock of that color." Best Buy is infamous for it's service. Wastes about 30mins of my time, can't read what's on the piece of paper, and are not upfront people. Saving $15 is definitely not worth being treated like this. ~ 0/10

Obviously there are some reasons for this.

Your experience is just one. May I suggest that you read that issue and chose a retailer that will give you a more pleasurable holiday experience?

went to best buy on Dec 1st to upgrade my cell phone contract with sprint wanted 2 evo4g lte phones they were out associate said we will have more in on the 5th i asked is the 49.99 price your everyday price he said oh yes. When I got to the store on the 6th they had the phone but price was 99.99 same associate told me 49.99 was our sale price. Guess who wont buy anything from best buy now. What is wrong with this company its like they have no clue about customer care tell me this is sale price and give me a rain check or let me pay now and ship them to me.

If you feel that the service was unsatisfactory vote with "your feet". The Dec 2012 issue of CONSUMER REPORT rates retailers on page 25.

Best Buy is at the bottom. Pick up that issue and try one of the more highly rated retailers.

You weren't "lied to", an employee made a mistake. If he was lying, wouldn't he know you were going to find out?

What would be his incentive to lie? I realize that you are perfect at your job and never make a mistake, but we're all not as perfect as you.

BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD AND PRODUCT SUCK

i took my computer in to have it backed up on to a hard drive that i bought at best buy. This took leaving my computer at best buy for three days...when i got the computer and hard drive home there was nothing on the new hard drive. I live 50 miles from the store so i had to drive to best buy for the third time to take this hard drive back and they said the hard drive failed and to contact the company who made the hard drive ./.and they wouldnt do anything about the 99.99 that i had to pay the geek squad to put data on a failed hard drive.,,,,they dont stand behind what they sell or work they do. BEST BUY SUCKS I WORK TOO HARD TO BE GIVING AWAY 175.00 and get NOTHING ,. this doesnt include the 60.00 i spent in gas the 6 hours of driving and the frustration that they could care less about..

That's pretty ridiculous and I would be ashamed if I was a member of that Geek Squad. Its unfortunate that bad Geek Squad Precients around the country hurt the reputation of good ones.

Best Buy cell phone insurance

I never did use the insurance, but did have it for 2 years. I called them to cancel the insurance in October of 2012 and they still took it out in Nov and Dec...When I called them today to cancel it, the gentleman that answered which worked for the Geek Squad was laughing loudly with someone else and didn't care that I had been charged 2 more times. He finally cancelled it and said they would refund me the months that i should not have been charged for. Do not get the Cell phone insurance, not worth the hassle.

i cancelled a webroot agreement, but they charged my credit card anyways. i have tried since june 4th, 2012 when this happened to get my refund. here it is december 4th, 2012 and STILL no refund !! when i call, the employees all say they see where the money was to be credited to my credit card account, but it did not happen. i have filed three seperate accounts to investigate, but each comes back saying that they see where i should get my refund, but i dont. all i have gotten is the run around now for 6 months. i have spent literaly THOUSANDS of dollars over the years there. i will NEVER spend another cent there EVER, and i will talk VERY badly about best but to all my customers & freinds i deal with, with my work & personallly.

Call your credit card company and tell them that you want to invoke the Fair Billing Act of 1966 in order to have your money credited back to your account. Ask them about their procedure.

Best Buy is the worst!

To whom this may concern: Let me start with the fact that we nor anyone I can tell will every shop with Best Buy again! We have had nothing but problems and poor customer service with you! We ordered a dishwasher online from Best Buy.com. First, when the order was delivered, it was the incorrect color. They dispatcher said there was nothing he could do because it was an online order. He said I had to call 1800bestbuy. I called and after talking to 4 different people, all of whom said they could not help me, I reached the exchange center and it was closed. I had to make another call back on Monday. I spoke to 5 incompetent people, who could not seem to get it together to help me. I asked to speak with a supervior on many occasions and I was told they were to busy to talk to me! Such poor customer service!! Then, I finally got someone who got it straightened out and they said they would come pick up the incorrect on and deliver the correct one on Dec 5. Why I should have beleived them , I never know! Because, today is Dec 5th and no one ever called to set up a specific time, so we called again. Talked to 3 more incompetent people and were told AGAIN that a supervisor was too busy to talk to us. We were then given ANOTHER order number and it is suppose dto come tomorrow... ha ha that probably wont happen either!! This is the most incompetent, poor cusotmer service I have EVER had. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER buy anything again from Best Buy! I am also reporting this to the better bursiness bureau and anyone else that I can tell! I will also be keeping a copy of this letter because I doubt anyone will ever respond as you have such poor management apparently!

File a complaint with the MO State Attorney's Office. The Better Business Bureau is run by business and you probably will get no relief.

Best Buy Provides Terrible Customer Service

I ordered three DVDs on cyber monday that were expected to arrive at my house between December 12th and 17th. I received an email saying all three items were backordered and to call their number to either cancel my order or change it to store pickup. As these items are a christmas gift I wanted to switch it to store pickup so I called and the representative told me it did not show the items were backordered on her system so I should call back tomorrow. I called the next day (Friday) and was told someone was trying to fix my situation and would e-mail me back on Monday. No one ever emailed me so when I called again a new representative told me there was nothing she could do and I just had to wait until the items came in. I am beyond upset and I will never again shop at best buy.
