Oh man, I've gotta agree with Simon. But the customer service does suck the big one.

What they SHOULD have done is comeback with a good computer and do the second setup no charge.

Afterall, they did sell that piece of *** to you in the first place. But that would be real customer service.

Best Buy review in New York, New York: Defective/Used DVD's sold as NEW

Purchased 3 DVD's on 03/17/13. When I openned the first one I noticed the factory "seal" with DVD title was missing. The "seal" is a tape adheard to DVD case with movie title and must be removed in order to open the case. This DVD was defective and would not play in 2 different DVD players. The second DVD was also missing the factory "seal". Did not open this one. The third DVD has the factory seal. Will attempt to exchange/return the two missing factory seal. Feel I have been scammed by Best Buy. I was deliberately scammed by Best Buy and am now burdened with correcting this situation. Do not trust Best Buy any more. Stay Away!!!

Best Buy review: Sealed box with different Camera

I bought 2 SONY HDRCX580V cameras at 12:34pm form Huntington Station NY Bestbuy on 03.10.2013 and came home. I opened the sealed box and the first one as expected. I opened the second one and there was a 2008 model different new camera was inside i put it back to the box and went to the store it was 2 hours after i purchased. They told me they don't sell this product and they didn't issue a refund. They told me they will investigate but i am really pissed right now. Why would i pay for somebodies fault. what are my rights here?

When i tried to return the store manager told me that the camera is from 2008 and they don't carry anymore. It was perfectly boxed.

I called BestBuy yesterday they told me they will call me back tomorrow(3/12/2013) still waiting. I wrote a complaint to BBB and i will build another website and share my story about Best Buy with everybody.

How do you know that the 2008 model even works? BB employees may have swapped out their broken camera for the new one and resealed the box.

Funny since this was brought up in alot of states about BB.

Everybody ought to google BB about complaints. There's alot of reading...whew.

Best Buy review in Beverly, Massachusetts: Got run around about a defective tablet

This is only one of many incidents I could cite about the sleaze of the Geeks and their overlords at Best Buy. I got an ASUS tablet at a good price after researching for a long time. Only one problem. The mini hdmi outlet did not seem have a signal out. I tried one adapter and a cord, a regular cord mini to regular hdmi, tried it at staples, and radio shack. No one could get a signal. So I conclude yeah it isn't the cords it's the connection. So I take it to the Geeks. Variously little conclaves of two and three Geeks fooled with it with a cord, and a monitor they had behind the desk, all with their backs turned and not a word to me what they were doing. I had to point out that yes, they actually could test the machine because they had Hdmi monitors right there, after they said they had no way to test it. After 20 minutes or so, they said, well it's not the jack, we got it to connect to the monitor fine with this fancy cable. I didn't see this unfortunately, cuz it turned out they were LYING. That is, I didn't see it cuz IT NEVER HAPPENED. This machine never produced a signal out of that jack, Not for me, not for them, never. So I was deceived by these geeks and spent more time trying to find a connection that would work until it dawned on me that I never actually saw it work and they were pulling my ***. Finally, I got them to find another one a half hour away in another store for possible exchange. I went down there and had to wait about an hour till the new one charged so it could be tested for the hdmi mini output. Sure enough the new one worked and the one I had checked out by the Geeks in Danvers was truly defective. These geeks just didn't want to be bothered doing something for a customer. Pissed me off. There are other incidents as well. They are *** by and large, though I talked to a decent tv guy today...

You came to the right place, Dude. Now all the BB employees will post that its your fault.

A couple of "Geek Squat" employees will tell you that that wouldn't happen in their store. No way. But BB must be dying for a reason.

It couldn't be for its great customer service that sooner or later everyone gets to experience. Go ahead BB *** bring it on.

Best Buy review in Richardson, Texas: Horrible Costumer Service

Well first off i went to get a phone repaired and no one told me my phone was going to be replaced instead of repaired as the contract i signed says. so i got a "new" phone and everything on my old phone wasnt sync properly (by your sales associate) so i lost all my 600+ pics and contacts AND bank info. i asked for my old phone and basically told that theres nothing that could be done its basically not your problem. ive had the "new replacement" phone since sat and it hasnt been working properly. it dies, no service, txt wont send, it sounds like if there is static on ALL calls. its ridic how often it freezes and overheats. i left the store today (3 hrs ago) after spending 2 hrs with a supervisor trying to fix the problem. he said it was the sim card and software needed to be updated. they did that. i get home phone works fine until now. it wont charge and it just died. wont turn on at all. i took the battery out and it works again but this is ridic. wht kind of costumer service is this??? not to mention the fact that im waiting to be credited the $50 back from my loaner phone. im very angry with this company and geek squad. and yet no one does anything to resolve the matter.

I had bought an extended warranty and I got some retard on the line named Jason in the Dispatch department and he refused to help me. He does not care.

My computer was not working correctly and said it would be 72 hours before someone calls me back. Jason is a real retard and needs to get some psyco help.
