I spent a lot of money on an Asus ultrabook at Best Buy. The operating system had a flaw and the computer started devolving from day one. After the computer was only 3 months old, I took it to them and they said they couldn't help me, that I would have to contact the...

"Started devolving since day one" yet it took you three months to bring it back. Clearly must be Best Buys fault, not ASUS.

Wow!! BB doesn't make the product, they sell it and to ensure you are protected they sell Tech Support.

Return Policy! Buyer Beware! | Best Buy review from Louisville, Kentucky

For my birthday my daughter purchased a TomTom GPS for me from Best Buy in March 2013. I decided I did not need the GPS and tried to return it along with the receipt and I was told there was a 15 day return policy. I believe this is completely rediculous and I filed a complaint with the BBB. The BBB responded and got in touch with BestBuy but Beat Buy stood firm and refused to return my $127.19 or issue a store credit. I am certain if this item had been purchased from any other store I would have been able to get a refund.I will not shop at Best Buy again due to this 15 day return policy of theirs.anyone that is in the market for electronics do your self a favor and stay away from Best Buy because if something happens and you need to return the item, you will be stuck with it like I am. Buyer Beware!!!

I'm actually proud that a BB store stood their ground. Good for them! Shout out to Louisville!!

actually, you would have had only a certain amount of time to return that GPS at just about any retail store. it sounds like you either don't care about the gifts you receive or your family is pretty bad at knowing what to get for you. but I'm so sorry that stores have return policies so they don't get screwed over.

How long should you be aloud to keep something before

you return it, I think 15 days is more then enough time.

I think a person should know within 15 days if they

want to keep the product or not.

Computers were a lot more manageable in the days of UNIX and DOS. These days about all I can say is, if you buy a computer you are basically building your house on shifting sand.

You are going to be spending money on new brands, new ideas and you'll be spending money on keeping them in good running order (with strange repair geeks) and keeping up with the latest operating systems.

Eventually you may find that you could be far happier spending your time reading some great classic books. I'm almost there now.

All stores have a 15 day return policy you retard, not their fault you cannot read the back of the receipt or choose not to.

We walked into the Rockaway Best Buy store on December 28, 2012 to purchase a projector and after selecting this Optoma model we had to wait for about 30 minutes for the item to be brought to the register, as this was the last unit they had as we were told. Since this...

I wish you all the luck. I will have to check out the sites. I guess our lesson here is to NOT let the item leave your side until the transaction has been completed.. AND to list the serial number of the, item in your, possession.

Thank you for this post. My monetary loss is a bit more. They didn't play a switch on me, they were just proving themselves to be sneaky and in NOT caring for their customers. My unit defected in the 20th day, I found out they recently switched their return policy from 30 to 15 days. No one let me know like perhaps a "hey we just changed our policy" or SOMETHING, and then their "Geek Squad" and warranty were WORTHLESS as well. We need to warn people.

Thanks again.

So I bought an LG LED TV at Best Buy. I had to return it because it was defective. They told me for "security reasons" they had to mail me a check for the refund. Talked it over, tried to see if there was any other option, there was apparently not. OK, that sucks but...

Best Buy would not refund me for product brought back within 30 days due to BAD Policy. My returns compared to purchases that are recorded (not including cash purchases). They passed judgement and would not accept the return. They gave me a third party to call and...

Lwets see, you had the pc for 8 months, have problems, and now you want BB to fix it for you!

The #1 cause of .exe errors is Malicious Software... you know... viruses, backdoor trojans, malware, keyloggers and spyware.

Sometimes, these can also look like hard drives issues.

Did you run the tablets built in Samsung update facility, which will check if any updates are available AND install them? They often have updates for these types of issues.

Did you reset the Tablet back to factory?

Did you assume the 70 days return policy did not apply to you?
