Purchased a Dell lap top with known charger issue (find out later) - there are tons of blogs and forum about it and definitely Best buy knowingly is selling lemon product. Issue showed it self the 2nd week and by the time I took it to Best Buy they refuse to do anything about it - of course with fake customer service smile. Some one if CS said well this is known this Dell laptop defect and we can not do anything about it. when asked them why do you sell lemon product - answer was that you should have checked before buying.

A friend of mine payed $200.00 for a Geoforce GTX 550 TI from Best Buy and asked the employee he purchased it from if the box was tampered with and the employee said no. Then he went to install it in his new computer and opened up the box and there was nothing there. My friend payed $200.00 for an empty GPU box DON'T BUY AT BEST BUY THEY LACK AUTHENTICITY AND SHARE THIS REVIEW WITH YOUR FRIENDS THAT ARE BUILDING COMPUTERS AND GETTING THERE PARTS FROM BEST BUY GO TO MICRO-CENTER OR RADIO SHACK OR FRY'S ELECTRONICS CAUSE IF BEST BUY HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL FROM YOU THEY WILL!!!

Best by has a trade in estimate they give you and it should be discarded and the should be sued for false advertising. It said my phone was cracked and it still held a charge and the estimate still proceeded to tell me that my phones trade-in-value was $50.00 and the local best buy said the couldn't take it if it had a crack in it. What horrible business. The least best buy could do is explain to me why they are false advertising. I want an explanation to why they are not keeping their word. It has really opened my eyes and really persuaded me to take my business elsewhere.

I was misinformed about Geek Squad Protection Plan | Best Buy review from Crosby, Texas
I bought an s4 from Best Buy 2 months ago and was talked into getting the Geek Squad protection. I was told by the Sale person I would be able to bring my phone in and get another one if something happened. My phone started giving me problem 2 weeks after I bought it. I brought it back and the tech from Geek Squad didn't even look at my phone, told me I had to pay $150 dollars and I would receive a refurbished phone. Note, I originally had Sprint insurance coverage for $5.00 a month and to get another refurbished phone I would only have to pay $50.00. So I was talked into paying more money for less service. I'm very unsatisfied and I'm dropping their service and writing a letter to the President of the Company. This is bad business and I hadn't had the phone 3 months.

they would not take my iPad tablet back because they said I had too many returns for the year which is not true I only returned one other item this year I wasn't I was within the 15 day deadline and they still would not take it back that to me is poor customer service I will never buy another product from them again

I had to wait and watch sales reps look at me as they walked by without helping me (this is not the first time). I wanted to spend $1000 on a camera setup. I had to complain and get a manager to get helped. Sorry customer service!!! I needed to return something valued at $900. I paid in cash but they will not give you back cash unless its under $600. The manager told me that they are not a bank! But if 3 customers returned items valued under $600 each they would get cash back. So they do have the cash. Now I had to drive home which is out of town and have to drive back into town to cash a check when it arrives in a week or 10 days. So they are costing me my time and wasting my gas. Will they cover this expense? What about interest on my money that they would not give me back until i get a check and cash it? So they have selective business policies depending on how much you spend. Kind of like discrimination isn't it? I have spent A LOT of money at best buy on numerous stereos, tv's, kitchen appliances and computers. TIME TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!

I bought a refrigerator at best buy and also bought 5 years service protection plan. I was having issues with it from the beginning and called geek sqad to extend it before it expired. They said they cannot extend it since it was still under warranty and they said they would call me when it is about to expire. I never received a call or an email from them. Once the warranty expired, I called them to extend it and they say they will not be able to extend the warranty. After being on call for 2 hours they promised me to extend it for 1 more year and they said I will be receiving an email in 5-7 business days. I never received and email and I call them back. They now say that they are sorry and the customer service rep does not know why they promised it. I asked them to verify their call records and they said they will escalate the issue again and wanted me to wait for how long I dont know. I paid 3000$ for my refrigerator and I would never buy any product at Best Buy. I am very disappointed with their Customer service. when I call the customer service, It took 2 hours to locate my record and I had to talk to 5 people. They kept on transferring my call. Worst customer service I have ever seen.

I buy games movies cds headphones tvs everything from bestbuy. This is the second time I have tried to do a price match at the St Mathews store in Louisville and this last time I was talked to by an employee really bad just because I found a cheaper price on a pair of headphones than he could . The cashier verified that it was from amazon and said prime beside it . It was over half off but that is the store policy so if it is on a site that they should match and the same product then why is this employee talking to me crazy and after I backed out of the site he pulls it up on his phone by scanning it and acting like it is full price. Just because I try to get things as cheap as possible don't give him the right to talk to or treat a customer poorly. . Very sad
