AVG Antivirus & Best Buy : No Satisfaction & No Service

My friend and I split the cost of AVG "Award Winning Security 2015" from Best Buy back in September. She installed it onto her computer first, but when I tried, I was offered only a 30 day trial after which time if I wanted to carry on with it, I had to pay for another program. On the package is stated: "3 PCs /1 Year". When I went to the so-called Geek Squad for help with this, the rude and arrogant *** behind the counter simply said, "Follow the instructions." I responded, " I did, and I expected to be able to have the protection I paid for, but clearly I've been scammed." He simply said, "It's not a scam! Just follow the instructions." I said, "Is this all you can tell me?" "That's it. You figure it out." Best Buy customer service sucks, and they can rest assured that I would not buy so much as a flashlight battery from them in the future.

Purchased a PC and have not received it after 2 weeks

I purchased online a PC from best buy. I would normally have made this purchase through Amazon but at the last minute changed my mind. What a mistake. I received notification my item had been delivered and when I got home it was not there. I contacted best buy and was told I needed to give them 8 days to investigate. It has been 12 and no word at all from them. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN PURCHASING FROM BEST BUY!!!! They will take your money and if there is an issue they will not stand behind your purchase. This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had! I would be enjoying my new PC if I had just stayed with Amazon. Best Buy is the WORST!

Best Buy - Dvd Review from Burton, Michigan

I ordered a dvd online for a Christmas gift on 11-30-2015 was given an arrival date of 12-14-2015. I was notified by email it was shipped on 12-4-2015. When not received on posted date I called customer service on 12-15-2015. Was told they had delays on shipping this year. The package was never shipped. I was asked if I would like a reship but it won't be delivered now till 12-29-2015. I said no I just want my refund then. I was then told the system was down and couldn't receive my refund. So now have no item that was purchased nor can I get my money back. I asked to speak to someone higher up and then was told they were able to recreate an account to refund my purchase how it was originally charged. Then was told it will take 10 days for my credit back to my charge. Do not order from bestbuy.com unless you want to be charged for an item not to ever be mailed out to receive. Better yet good luck getting your refund. I was given a confirmation number for my credit. Wish me luck on getting that back. Do your self a favor shop anywhere else and you will receive your items on time or early like I did all my other items. Happy shopping on line NOT at BESTBUY.COM.!!!!!!!!''

Cell phone & beats headphones

I ordered two items, an iPhone 6 and beats solo 2 wireless. The phone came sealed but when we went to hook it up, the SIM card was connected to another account. Luckily since Best Buy didn't want to seem to work with us, Verizon wireless fixed their mistake! The headphones we got were not wireless. I called to speak to customer service and was hung up on!?! These were Christmas presents. Major fail Best Buy! Thanks for ruining Christmas for a 12 year old & myself who spent three different calls with you on Christmas Eve taking up an hour & 1/2 of my time that could have been spent with family! Ffs smh!!!!

Best Buy Bee Cave, TX

September 7th I purchased over $7000. of Kitchenaid and LG appliances with a 5 year Geek Squad warranty and scheduled a delivery date of Nov. 2nd. I called the store a week before the scheduled delivery to make sure everything was good for that date and was told there were no problems. By the 2nd I did not receive a call or a delivery and spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Best Buy customer service, the store, and XPO delivery. They re-scheduled for the 4th. On the 4th, the same thing...no call and no delivery. That day I was on the phone for 4 hours and was told by Fabian, the Bee Cave store manager, that he would work on it and call me later in the day. He never called, I called him and all I got was we can re-schedule for the 9th, then it was the 14th, then the 24th. At the end of the day he cancelled my order but still charged me $423. With all the time I spent on the phone I talked to about 8 different individuals with one customer service agent calling me a liar. When I tried to call the CEO, they hung up on me. There was no Black Friday, I had completely paid for my order and had set a delivery date for 2 months out. There is simply no excuse for this type of beyond horrible customer service. The next day I called a Pacific appliance inside a different Best Buy and completely re-ordered everything and they were able to get my appliances to me within 2 weeks. Don't order any appliances from Best Buy in Bee Cave and I would recommend only using Pacific sales if you absolutely need to order from Best Buy

Returns - POOOr service

I had a well executed wish list from my son with many Best Buy items linked in to it - so I went to the store Christmas eve with it and their website was down!~ so the staff was not able to tell from the link what the kid wanted. We guessed wrong. So - boxing day we try to return and they tell me at the store - nope, sorry, no can do. No returns until January 4th. So the kid has no Christmas. Thanks a lot Best Buy. Really?

Fluctuating Prices Unfairly

I check an item on Cyber Monday and the next day (on Tuesday). At both times, it said dollar amount X. I go there in the evening, bam, they have changed the prices online and in store. So, when I go to store, they tell me, sorry, this item now goes for X + 50% more. I showed them other stores with X amount but they said they are not going to price match it. How are people supposed to track your prices in less than 8 hours? This is ridiculous.

Called to see the Best Buy store had a certain refrigerator I seen at a competitor and they said yes. After driving out of my way when I got to the store they did not have the product. Seen an open Box item and purchased the open box item for over 1000. The GM of the store guaranteed free delivery as their add states. Said they would deliver on 8/21/15 then on 8/28/25 stayed home all day and missed work both days (guaranteed it was on the truck and would be delivered till 8PM. When 8PM rolled around no delivery. Then I stated I can not stay home from work so must be delivered before 1PM said it would be delivered on 9/4/15 then on 9/11/15. Then the managers said if I paid $70. more they could deliver it at the given time.This is the most unethical store I have ever dealt with. Bait and Switch and then lied on a receipt and stated it had been delivered and an exchange was to take place on 9/4/15. When asked why Best Buy put that on the receipt for another delivery the boss of the qeek squad said that is how he could get another delivery date. FRAUD as far as I am concerned.

SARASOTA / 41 - CAR RADIO INSTALL

WORST RADIO INSTALL I had ever seen. Radio did not set flush with dash board missing screws and non tightened side plates. The whole radio wobbled when you used the touch screen.Went to another company and they showed me the side screws were not even tightened and the whole radio moves. Also missing 4 additional screws needed to secure radio to dash board. Radio was factory upgrade I bought online -- STEER CLEAR FROM THESE INSTALLERS THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING !!!!

Sergio at the Perimeter Best Buy in Georgia has successfully and completey ruined my opinion of all Best Buy stores. I went in to get a new Verizon cell phone. I told him to start with that i WAS NOT INTERESTED in a payment plan. I would rather get contract price or just pay for it outright. He would not allow me to do either one. He just refused to sell me what i wanted. I wound up leaving with what HE WANTED ME TO HAVE!! I complained to Verizon, but when Verizon tried to get involved with the manager to resolve the issue, no one would help her either! I'm disgusted with your "used car salesman" tactics. I wont make the same mistake again!

I was checking out with Tiberius- the register guy at Moorpark -Thousand Oaks when I realized I had left my BestBuy credit card in my car. I got my card from the car and was standing in front of him for 10 min but he kept calling the customers from the line. I asked him to let me pay but he rudely said that I would have to go back in the line. I had already been in the line before and there was no reason for me to go back in line. I left the stuff I was buying there and walked out. Am I surprised Best Buy is going down with poor customer service?

Told shud subscribe to geek squad for iPhone. "They will repair or replace your damaged phone". Phone damaged after several months paying. Guess what? Oh that kind of damage isn't covered. Best buy credit card got charged for some kind of insurance. Was not told - just appears. Only way to stop was to close account. Samsung TV purchased. Removed from box had chip corner of screen. Returned same day. Was told "how do we know you didn't do that" General service a lot like Home Depot. Say they will check - and never come back Prove you don't have to be good to be successful

Yes valparaiso IN geek squad must just sell computers because they cant fix them Oh your hard drive is out Would you like to recycle it? 3 TIMES 3 COMPUTERS But i took all 3 to a garage geek and he fixed all 3 (THAT WERE Done Junk )for. 40.00 ea with not buying a single part in about 3 days So There Goes my credid card CUT UP and so much for my 200.00$Geek support SEE YA!!!
