Problem with date of purchase
Good morning, on October 9, 2021 we bought a Mac Pro air laptop (open box) at Best Buy in Orlando. The number of receipt 153017**** 10/09/21
The laptop has failed and we want to make use of the guarantee since we are still within the year of purchase.
We have gone to an Ishop store in Lima Peru and they told us that they figure that the computer was bought in September 2021 instead of 9 of october 2021 and therefore no longer has a guarantee.
We have also called Apple (866********) and they told us that the date of purchase of the laptop is not the one that we have on the purchase receipt.
Furthermore, we then called Best Buy at 888237**** and explained what apple told us, and you told us that the date on our receipt is correct.
We need your help to get the computer accepted by Apple and get it fixed under warranty.
The Computer enter to I shop in Peru, but they don't repair because the warrant time

So I was given a gift for employee appreciation day and I choose Jlab headphones. They were not Noise-cancelling therefore I could not use them at work. I returned them at the store and I chose a blendjet2 and paid the difference.
I receive the same blender for mother's day, so brought the one I paid the difference for back. The associate was supposed to give me the credit back and also the rest in store credit. She said don't worry I added it to the card we had for you on file, you should get that back in 5-7 business days. Only to findout she refunded my gift back to my employer, when in fact that was a gift and I should've got this back too.
Spoke to a manager at your Tampa location and she was super rude and they wouldn't fix it. Said nothing they can do. Told the same thing by customer support. So now I can't get my gift credit back and to add insult to injury the blendjet I got for mother's day was stolen at work.
So this was overall a terrible experience and I was left with nothing. Response..Thank you for getting back to me with this information. While I wish I could provide a different answer than what it sounds like you were provided at your local store, please know any returns processed at our stores would go back to the original form of payment, which in this case appears to be your employer. If you haven't done so yet, I recommend working with your employer to explore what options may be available.

Just called corporate# again and now I'm being told after I provided the order# that the rep couldn't even find, that I cant be helped because the phone number doesnt match after she already verified it did.
Best Buy you're customer service is less than one star. I will NEVER BUY anything from you again and I filed a complaint with my employer who bought me this gift and said they were sorry and will use someone else for the next employee appreciation day because this is not the fitst complaint they received about the gifts through Best Buy!

Stolen Gift Card
I PURCHASED A $500 GIFT CARD AND THE USPS STOLE THE CARD. BEST BUY HAS BEEN USELESS IN TRYING TO COME UP WITH A RESOLUTION, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUT RESOURCED OF THE COUNTRY AND FEW UNDERSTAND OR SPEAK ENGLISH,.
I WAS LIED TO BY THREE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM MEMBERS. I ASKED FOR TAPES OF OUR CONVERSATIONS AND WAS DENIED ACCESS. i WAS TOLD THEY WOULD DISPATCH A NEW CARD AND USE THEIR BEST BUY TEAM TO DELIVER, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT SERVICE IS NOT EVEN A POSSIBILITY.
THEN I WAS TOLD THE GIFT CARD REPLACEMENT WOULD BE EXPEDITED, ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN EITHER. LIES AND MORE LIES.
ONE STAFF TOLD ME THAT THE USPS STEALS ALL THE TIME, YET NO ONE FROM BEST BUY MANAGEMENT TEAM SEEMS TO BE CONCERNED.
I WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL TO SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE

Refrigerator delivery rescheduled for a 3rd time. My delivery was scheduled between 2 and 6pm, the delivery team called me au 3pm and told me they couldn't deliver today.
They said they were taking the Refrigerator to the warehouse. I asked them what time it would be there so I could pick it up and they said 30 min. What happened to delivery possible til 6pm???
Another 40 min on hold with customer no service from some land afar and its rescheduled for a week later.
This is not the first time I've purchased from there and had a horrible experience trying to get the item I purchased. So you can buy it but good luck getting what you purchased

OMG! You guys, please beware of Best Buy Promotion asking you at the cash register if you want the 24-month Free Interest Rate promotion.
It's a complete sham! Here's what happened to me. I purchased a TV, refrigerator and a security system with flood lights. I had three different 24 Month Free Interest promotions.
I don't get paper bills or emails from Best Buy.
I only get my payments on my online banking. I received no emails or mail regarding the promotions ending. I only had $804 to pay it off and called Best Buy directly and they told me because I didn't pay off the promotion at the time it was supposed to be paid off, they now charged me $11,500! That's right, I only owed $804 and didn't know my Promotion was up and they decided to defer all the interest and charge me $11,500.
I am beyond devastated...
I don't work, I take care of my two elderly parents, and I'm losing sleep over this. Especially with the lousy economy and high gas prices, this is not what I needed.
I spoke to several Supervisors, one of which said, she was sorry but the problem was that the cashiers or customer service folks at Best Buy don't understand enough about the deferred interest nor do they tell the customer when you are at the cash register.
That's a big problem, because you are totally screwed if you don't pay the promotion off on time. That's how they get you!

COMPLETE FAILURE IN CREDIBILITY / TRYING TO STEAL MY WASHER AND DRYER
Due to a mega malfunction in customer service, best buy offered me a $200 credit on my charge AND a $200 best buy gift card to go through with my order when I tried to cancel it.
I bought a new samsung washer and dryer but was delivered only a washer. Customer service told me their records only showed a washer purchase, even though I had a receipt.
Then they changed their story to say I must have taken dryer with me.
After almost 50 hours and 10 days on the phone, they said it was improperly coded and would be delivering it in two days. I told them to cancel the order, come pick up their washer and I would go buy elsewhere. I was offered a $200 credit AND a $200 best buy gift card to go through with the order and accept delivery, I finally agreed. I called back to best buy because of a problem with delivery and asked about my refund/credit and gift card.
I was told I shouldn't have been offered both and that I could have one or the other, but not both.
I really got upset about this and told them to just come get the two appliances and bring my old washer dryer back. I was told NO, YOU CANT HAVE YOUR OLD APPLIANCES, THEY ARE GONE AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT.
I asked for a supervisor, nine was available.
I asked to have one contact me as soon as possible. STILL NO WORD FROM BEST BUY!!!
IM A 64 YEAR OLD DISABLED RETIREE AND CANT CONTINUE MAKING TRIPS TO LAUNDROMAT, PLEASE HELP ME BY LIVING UP TO YOUR WORD AND NOT STEALING MY ORIGINAL APPLIANCES!!

My mailing address is vika-pk@***.ru, and I need your help. I bought a Galaxy Fold2 Bronze - unlocked sellphone in Best Buy store # 563 in Lakeland, FL 33809, on 03/28/2021. And I also paid for your protection plan. It was explained by the salesperson when I asked what it is covered as it is going to cover any accidental damages for free, and that is why I decided to get it.
The number of my plan is 671762****. So, when I accidently dropped my phone and got a frame damaged, and both screens were scratched. Then, I tried to use my insurance and brought my sellphone to the same Best Buy store in order to fix it, but I was explained that if it doesnt touch a function of my phone and even if it would be, I still have to pay $200 didactable fees to fix it. Can you please explain my rights according to this situation.
Do I have to pay extra to fix my sellphone damages even if I have your insurance?

I bet anonymous works for best buy. The year warranty from ASUS is a contract with best buy.
Talked with them yesterday and your failure to help due to forcing extended coverage and your statement that after 60 days you are not involved is not true. Appalling that the same phone number for all your posted help and corporate sends you only to Geek Squad. There is a reason your stores are failing.
The only mistake I made was buying from Best Buy because I believed after twenty years you were the same. Have not even posted the problem delivery with thousand dollar washer.

You sound extremely entitled. It's no wonder you received zero help. This is why extended coverage exists.
Any company you purchase from offers this. Stop defecting and grow up.
