I went to best buy on Yonkers to purchase the surface pro 3. I spent hours in the store trying to learn about the machine I was purchasing. When I got home the machine didn't do the things I expected. I went back to the store several times finally one of the sales people told me I didn't purchase the surface pro 3 and I purchased the surface 3. Now best buy is willing to refund my money however the accessories I purchased they refuse to refund and they also refuse to return the taxes I paid for the surface 3.

Broken new Washer

We were delivered a broken washing machine and they had the nerve to want to make us wait and have it repaired??! We just bought it! They also showed up a day early??! We had to turn around from a short trip to accept the day early delivery for this broken machine. My husband spent 2 entire days dealing with horrific cusomer service people and false promises. They said they would send a new one out the next day. We received texts and phone calls confirming the delivery. We waited a 2nd day w/scheduled delivery time for a promised replacement and it still never showed up. I have filed complaint with BBB. It's not the broken machine that is the problem….it's the way in which Best Buy has dealt with the issue.

Scam on your CREDIT for Cell Phone Deals

Greece,NY best buy is the worst as their cell phone sales are scammers and want to get you into an $80 per month plan after leading you on.. They even tell you to go ATT or Verizon and get your account number and bring it back.. Go *** yourself in the parking lot -you will have alot more fun. If you want to buy a new cell phone and geta free TV you wil be scammed. Best Buy takes all your info and then tells via a screeen. that your cart is too full. And ten just cuts you off,back to standard shopping Best Buy screen. After 10 trys at getting through via internet sales sight, IM PISSED and letting YOU KNOW ABOUT IT.

Rocketfish Power Adapter Review

Baught rocket fish adapter a couple of years ago, never really used much. Today the power cord started smoking and sparking! Went to unplug shock! Both ends of charger cord looked like they were cut! It fried tv and stereo! Good luck!

I purchased an IPad at this Store and received poor customer service. When asked to speak to a Manager I was told he was busy. Requested his name and was told it was Herb, also requested his last name and was told last names of Managers aren't given out, Store Policy. I won't shop Best Buy again. My wife and I were treated like shop lifters, also associate did not seem knowledgeable of the product we were buying at one point she informed the cost of the IPad was $400.00 when the cost was approximately $200.00.

I placed an order online for I store pick up. I was charged not only the $143 for the order but also $65. After 3 hours and 3 different agents in the phone and going to the store, nobody knows why I was charged the $65. Today, due to this mysterious charge I was also charge $300 in courtesy fees and was told that it will take 1-2 business days to review my email. They better hope to resolve this before my autopays go through or they'll owe me even more.

Money Sucking Thieves

Wow, just wow--in the worst sarcastic terms. BUYER BEWARE!!! Please, I hope you save yourself wasted time and effort in dealing with Best Buy's false advertisements and incompetence. I ordered a "Deluxe Edition" of a music album online during Cyber weekend, and I have proof on my e-mail receipt. When I received the order, it was the standard edition. Come to find out, they adjusted their online title and deleted the word "Deluxe Edition." So, fine; let's say it was an title error online. Everywhere online and even the agent I spoke to on the phone said I could return in-store, but can you believe even the store refused to accept my return!? No offense, but what *** is this! Wow, just wow--how much time did I just waste? This just seems like a fishy scheme to steal your money and say, "Too bad, so sad, sucker". I will NEVER buy from Best Buy again. (Best Buy did redeem itself with the 2nd agent I spoke too, who was much more friendly and helpful, but I didn't want to waste time mailing the item back after all I went through already and risking any additional, surprise *** from this company.) Please purchase from another store who cares and is actually honest about their advertisements. I can vouch for Amazon, which usually has better prices than Best Buy anyways; Amazon.com's customer service is excellent and efficient. If there were ever any issues, they'd resolve it ASAP. Honestly, I have no complaints with Amazon, and I've shopped with them for many years.

Five weeks ago I purchased an HPx2 from Best Buy in McKinney. The keyboard stopped responding so I took it into the Geek Squad. I felt like it was a setting more than hardware and I wanted someone to walk me through how to identify the problem. I never even got to speak with a technical person. The initial encounter was an employee asking me what I needed. After I explained he ran behind a curtain to discuss with what I assumed was the IT Wizard. It felt like I was in OZ. He ran back and forth a couple of times and said they would need to send to HP. My argument was I thought the Geek Squad was there to help me and since I had it for such a short time I would like it to be replaced. He stated their policy is they do not service at the location and it has to be sent to the manufacturer. It cannot be replaced, that is up to HP support/service. I asked to speak to the manager. Manager had the same story. Without going into all the details: BEWARE, the minute you walk out of a Best Buy they no longer support or take responsibility for the products that come off their shelves. They shift the responsibility to the manufacture 100%. Now this is the kicker - I went home and researched the HP service website and figured it out all on my own and I promise you I am no computer Geek. All I wanted was someone to take the time to help me.

I'm not sure where the monetary loss of $200 came from you don't mention anything about spending $200, just that you purchased the device 5 weeks ago. I also don't see, did you purchase a protection plan?

as you don't state you did and didn't state you brought it in to be looked art under any warranty or protection plan, if you don't purchase one than there really wasn't anything bestbuy owed you for an issue arising, be that fixing the problem or replacing the device. Lastly I don't know about geeksquad but having worked as an EasyTech at Staples I can tell you we didn't offer any service to walk customers through fixing issues, which I'd assume it's true of geeksquad too, so your desire to have them show you how to fix the issue was unlikely to happen in the first place.

The warranty period from the manufacturer is what determines who fixes the problems. In your case, I assume it was still under warranty and it is HP's responsibility to fix, not BB.

You are mistaken. Immediate gratification will not happen when computers break under warranty.

Best Buy is full of ***. They say that will price match, but they find every excuse they can, not to do it. I found a tv on walmart.com and took it to best buy in Homewood Il to match, but the sales customer service associate glat out lied in my face. She told me that the price on Walmart.com had changed and they wouldnt honor it. Homewood Il. Best Buy, will never get another nickle of my money!

Can't find purchase

I purchased a 40inch Sharp TV from Best Buy in Sept 2013 with care plan. Best Buy is saying they can't find my purchase. Which part was with cash and the rest with credit card. Talked with billing department and they said they can't find it either, but I have bank statement showing transaction. How does a giant electronic store not have a transaction for cash nor credit card. Something not right. Either my transaction was swiped out or something is fishy. I haven't gotten any help from any departments I have talked to.

Best Buy say they can't find my purchase of 9/2013 and I did part of it with bank card. Somebody wiped my transaction out of system because part of cash but they forgot I also did credit as well.

LG microwave

Bought LG microwave exactly 2 years ago and doesn't work no power. Only used it periodically for warming food up only. Called company and all they did was give me a company to fix it. That is 200 dollars. I will not buy anything LG makes again. I could see if it was say 5 years or more old. Mine still looks brand new I just remolded my kitchen. Best Buy should also help here but they got their money. Well they just lost a customer and I'll tell everyone about my experience

Best Buy Sales Person Rip off customer!!

I bought a new HP-HEWLETT PACKARD HP Pavilion 15.6" Laptop - Silver from Best Buy 480 Progress Ave. Scarborough, ON, M1P 5J1 for their boxing day sale. The Unit cost 729.99 and on the product features it comes with a Windows 10 Home. My concern is that when I get to talk to one of the sales person when i bought the unit is that they said that the unit comes only with windows 8 and I had to pay them extra 150 CAD to upgrade it to windows 10. When i got home and had a chance to check the promo again, I realized that they made a fool out of me from the store and that i did not have to pay extra 150 CAD for the upgrade of the operating system to windows 10 since it already comes with the product features. I am so disappointed about what happened and i am sad that instead of us trusting them in purchasing gadgets and electronics they are the ones to rip you off with your money. I hope this will be of help to some people that purchase product from best buy. Dont trust sales representatives with promotions and product inquiries, you have to check them yourself and be knowledgeable enough on items that you are trying to purchase.

Best Buy - never again

I will never buy another thing from this store again especially something that needs to be delivered. I bought an open box wall oven from a store in Houston and would to say I got a very good deal. They schedule a delivery time with me but had to reschedule twice after I have taken a day off from work. The second time they didn't even bother calling so I burned my whole day in the house waiting. When I called their customer service department they told me that the item I bought was mishandled and the glass door was broken. Well things happen, the agent said he will try to see what he can do but it turns out that he really couldn't do anything. He said I would need to go to the store and see what they could do for me as far as giving some concessions. Well I basically said I'd rather not go to all the hassle since i've been inconvenienced enough. I asked him to just refund me the money and i'll go get it somewhere else. He said the refund would have to mailed to me and would take 7 to 10 business days. That just grinds my gear. So at the moment I don't have the item I paid for, burned two days of vacation and now don't have the money to buy it somewhere else. In comparison, I bought something from Amazon, had a hassle free return and got my money credited back to me the following day. No wonder companies like Amazon killing Best Buy

Credit card Issue

on November 3rd I wrote this e-mail to customer service > on October 3rd 2015 I made a purchase from South common Best buy of $83.97. the minute I had the card in the system froze so we had to do the transaction again. The sales person said that if I am double charged to go back and they will refund the money. Of course I got double charged, and not that seems to be the problem, the problem is I keep going to the store to have my transaction fixed and they say "No the bank will do it"; second time "No they will change it automatically"; third time "If you still see it this month come back with the products and will make a refund". Today I decided to call the bank and the bank told me that I have to go back to the store (for the 4th time) and they need to cancel a plan in order for the bank to cancel one transaction. > All I need is someone at best buy who knows what they are doing to help me solve this problem. Am I asking for too much? > Thank you! As you can see I am writing you again and again and again. My problem still hasn't been solved. They are keep sending me back an fort. best buy blames the bank the bank blames best buy. I do not care who is the guilty person all I want is that charge of my credit card. It was so easy to make a mistake I am asking you now: Why is that hard to fix that mistake?
