Best Buy - Manager Review from San Antonio, Texas
This chain in the last 10 years has become very anti customer satisfaction! I went to local store here in San Antonio and was looking for TV power cord and found two 6 ft on a hanger priced at 4.99 both cords were 6 ft, get to register and I am charged 12.99 and I return immediately back to where I found the product on the shelf and took a photo of price as product. Tried to talk to employee in charge of dept., he was already dealing with another customer and was already having issues with the pricing in the register with the customer he was helping ... First clue about pricing at best buy . Found the manager and explain to him about the issue at hand with my receipt and the price on the shelf. His only comment was pretty much you are screwed. Sorry I can't help if my employees put the wrong product on the self. But, we can't help you. It may have been the wrong serial number on the product but yet the length on the cord is 6 ft and the label said 6 ft. I called customer and they only apologize for the issue and would just email their store personnel not to make the same mistake. I've had no call backs nor an apology from best buy! Won't be buying any product from here . I know amazon has a great policy on customer service and will do my business with them or find a company who exercise customer service

Best Buy review in Vancouver, British Columbia: Tried to buy a tv twice, left frustrated (and without the tv) both times.
In the last 6 months, I have tried to buy a television from Best Buy, and both times I left extremely frustrated.The first time, 6 months ago, I went in to the Best Buy at Bay and Dundas in Toronto. I picked out a tv, approached a salesperson who didn't speak 3 words of english and asked him if he could sell me the tv for the ticket price including tax delivery and setup. The salesperson went to a store computer and after a few minutes said that he could. Great I thought. The salesperson started taking all my information, and when he got to the extended warranty, that's when the problem started. He asked me if I wanted the extended warranty. I said no. He said "look at all the money your saving". I said I don't need it because I was buying a much bigger version of the same Samsung model that I have had at home for 5 years without a single problem. He said something could still go wrong and I shouldnt take the chance. I said I wasn't spending $400 on a warranty for a $1000 television. Again, he came back at me with "look how much money your saving" At this point I was getting upset and thought to myself that if he tried one more time, that I was going to leave. He tried one more time and I turned around and left. The second time was 3 days ago when a television that I had been waiting to go on sale finally did go on sale. Everywhere in Toronto, at the same time. So I decided to give best buy a second chance, and get the tv there. So I go into the Bay&Dundas location, talk to this lady salesperson, and tell her that I am willing to buy this model for the ticket price, if I can get it for tax, delivery and setup included. She says ok and we go over to the tv dept. computer, and she starts filling out all the info. Along the way she asks me about warranty, something called wire surge protection, and a few other things. After an hour and a half of this and the computer program screwing up, she says that she has managed to get me the $1000 television for $737 and all kinds of bonus services and that the grand total is only $1486. i could not believe my ears! After telling her right off the bat that i was willing to pay the ticket price of a thousand bucks for the tv including tax, delivery and setup, she tells me that the total for the tv that I wanted and all the other extras I didn't was now $1486. AN HOUR AND A HALF. So I ended up just leaving. Best Buy does not sell tv's. They sell warrantys and wire surge protection, and things like that. They do not listen to the customer, and they would rather not sell you a tv if your nor getting all the other *** they sell with it

first I go in to buy a telephone I get talked into buying a tablet the tablet I really wanted was about a hundred dollars more than what the clerk wanted to sell me I bought the one the clerk wanted to sell me because he said it was cheaper and it had a camera on it when I got it home and played with it I discovered it had no camera, I called the store he argued with me and told me because it had a dot at the top it had a,camera then I decided I did not want it though I brought it back he argued with me and pointed to the spot at the top and said that says play the camera is I said no that is not be, that is just a dot on the front face of the tablet itself so I decided with the money he gave me back that I would purchase a new phone so when I got my phone home all I could do was put Facebook on it I called he is trying to tell me he was not thinking that I could get any more applications on my brand new phone the store manager called me he is so sorry that this has happened he said he would be in the store for me to bring it in I bought it in the day he said he would be there he is not here nowhere to be found I told the assistant manager what the problem was he decided to try and cut open a new memory card open in arguing with me stating I don't even think that this is what the problem is I think you should erase your picturesbottom line I should be able to download at least 20 more applications on a brand new phone it's just because they don't know what they're talking about that they're trying to cover their *** no rinse off these *** people at Best Buy I just got done spending $300 the previous week on a television set I do not drive I've had to spend three times the money in a taxi cab bringing back the tablet and my cell phone I am still stuck with a cell phone that's all I can do is have facebook I cannot even update the applications that are installed in the phone right it has already on it of course the manager is not returning my phone calls I am suing! ok does it really make too much then about the fourth paragraph after wet I am writing no because I am trying to speak into the phone @ they sold me and it makes absolutely no senselet me see it has now been 4 hours since the manager was supposed to be at the store he has still yet to return my phone call or show his pretty little faceI am very good at writing reviews I will write many many more thank you very much and I will see you because I need my phone to love I did not drive I did not have a car I am disabled thank you very much
Best Buy review in Venice, Florida: Files deleted
Took computer in due to virus, and told them I MUST have a backup on everything (I run a charity). After the initial 72-hour timeframe I received a call that it was going to be an extra $99.99 to back up everything, and I agreed wholeheartedly. After another 24+ hours, received the computer back. ALL was wiped from the desktop, which wasn't the worst part. My DOCUMENTS folder was nearly EMPTY. A flimsy excuse was given that when they started to back up, the files were eliminated automatically! This is a devastating loss, and I'm beside myself. There is no way to re-create the files that were lost. Oh yes, they can sometimes send out and can sometimes retrieve lost files, but there is no guarantee, and the bill would be well upwards of $500. From a very unhappy FORMER customer in Nokomis, Florida, whose regular computer geek was on vacation. I'd happily have waited until he returned in light of the outcome! Charlene Inglis
Best Buy review in Brush, Colorado: Faulty electronics
on 5/29/14 i went to best buy #333 and bought a lg tone pro(hbs-750). on 6/12/14 while on vacation the left channel stoped working. i waited till i returned on 6/16/14 to take it back to the store. i was informed that it had a 15 day return policy and that i was out of luck. i paid a total of $74.19 for that lasted 15 days. I belive anyone would be upset. I was extra carefull with this unit and was very proud of it. The person that helped me when i came back in said i should have bought a service agreement. I do buy the service agreements but was never asked or offered. I belive this is bad business.

Bought a cell phone by internet they called their Express mail fast???? Yeah right more like snail mail!!! This is the first and last time I will buy online with them! You just lost another customer! This is why Amazon is making money than stores like best buy poor customer service and their mail express is snail mail! Will always go to Amazon for further online shopping!! Disgusted with best buy period!!! Never again Best Buy!!
Movie Purchase Review
Bought a movie from them in Madison, Wi because it had ultraviolet redemption. Open the sealed case and no code or papers at all! I could not have a digital copy,I am pissed.
Best Buy review in Houston, Texas: Took my item and won't return the charge.
houston southware store #213. Today I bought a dvd recorder(open box), I took home, tested unit and won't work (dvd drive won'y eject). took back to Bestbuy 30 min later to return the item. Bestbuy claim that I broke the item, or the unit is not the right unit in the box and won't refund me. they also keep the item and told me not to come back again. I am filing to BBB, and other site to inform people not to buy from best buy and getting my credit card company to dispute the charge. I will not shop at best buy ever again.
I was at the best buy store in Snellville ga, and was told about a product that was better than the product that I had just purchased with a better value, long story short the samsung guy gave me the
Samsung rep. Gave me the price but the sale had ended that Saturday and now it was that sunday .when the exchange was being made is when the price wasn't the quoted price and the manger said that there was nothing that could be done! Called customer service and they also said the same.i buy a lot of my electronic devices from them and I tolerate poor customer service from this location but this is un heard of and needs to get better I will be contacting the corporate office as soon as they're open.i hope they can be of help
