Best Buy - Faulty Hd Tv Adaptor Review

I bought a MHL hdtv adaptor had it for about a month and it stopped working I didn't have a receipt so I was *** outta luck so I bought another one used it for about a month and it stopped working AGAIN this time I kept the receipt I go to return it and they tell me there's only a 15day return policy on electronics they wouldn't even exchange it for a new one they pretty much took my 80$ and said *** u. 15days come on now like any electronics will get damaged in 15days *** *** BEST BUY!!!

Best Buy could care less about the people who keep their pure greedy behinds in biznezz. 15 days for returning electronics is a *** joke...people spend hundreds of dollars to only get a 15 day gurantee, what a joke.

Go back and tell them that you're returning a defective product out if policy and you will do an exchange or take store credit and ask to speak to a manager.

I worked at best buy and the one I worked at never had an issue like this.

And that is why after 15 days you contact the manufacturer because it is now a warranty issue with the manufacturer not Best Buy's problem.

Insignia tv quit after 9 mos-Poor Best Buy Customer Service

My daughter bought an insignia tv for her brother and purchased the extended warranty. After 9 mos the TV suddenly smelt like something was burning. She took it to Best Buy for repair. 2 1/2 weeks later still no TV. My daughter and son made numerous calls to find out the status. It seems no one knew where it was. They were transferred numerous times between the Geek Squad and the store. When my son asked why it took so long for them to ship it for repairs, he was told they ran out of bubble wrap. Really?? My son finally tracked it down, but still no one could tell him when it would be repaired. Their answer was check back in another week. None of our family will ever buy anything from Best buy again. Their promise of good service with the extended warranty is worthless and bogus.

Best Buy review in Commerce, Georgia: Had Security Called On Me For No Reason

I walked in to my local best buy to buy a pair of headphones with a microphone for my work, I was in my pajamas so I guess that screamed that I was a shoplifter or something. As I'm looking at the headphones an employee comes up to me and asks me if I need help and I said yes "are these headphones compatible with macs?" (cause one of them said it was windows compatible so i wanted to be sure) and he replied in a very smart *** way "well yeah their headphones so they kind of work with computers" and I just smiled and said thank you and took it from him and as I was walking away he said "call off security" in his *** little walkie talkie. I'm done with best buy their over priced anyways and always have such wanna be know it alls working for them. Its places and times like this that I'm just gonna start walking into stores with a wad of cash in my and and scream "I HAVE MONEY TO PAY, I AM NOT A SHOPLIFTER"

Best Buy review in Culver City, California: Rude, unhelpful and unfinished installation

I bought a Samsung fridge from best buy. It turn out my door hallway is too small. It needs 30' but I barely have the size so the first installer told me to widen my door by half inch. Fair enough, I have a professional carpenter coming to widen the door to 31' wide. Second installer coming today and told me that my door still too small and trying to convince me to get a different fridge. I think he come up with 100 difference reason that the fridge won't fit through my door. Even tough is clearly there is enough room if they are willing to remove the door and draw. He refuses to remove the draw and door because he doesn't know how to remove it. And this is the guy that swears he has 10 years’ experience. While he is trying to tell his supervisor about the problem, I grab a screwdriver and remove the draw in less than 2 minutes. So finally he must feel bad and agree to remove the door. The final straw that made me write this review are three following mistakes. 1. They insist to use body-wrap harness to carry the door over 10 feet even though I told them we can wheel them in. That's what the little wheel under the fridge is for. Why they have to risk the fridge going wobbling instead of simple push. shrug Anyway at this point I gave up and let them do it. And guess what the fridge fit through the hall way door with no problem. 2. They want to leave before we turn on the fridge because; they don’t want to wait for me to put the draw back. Yes, they want me to put back those draw that I removed. After another argument they let me put the draw back. It took me 2 minutes while they just stand back and watch me doing it. 3. They forgot to plug one wire that connects to door check. They even say it’s something wrong with this blinking light but they want to leave anyway. I have to call Samsung customer service and we trouble shoot the problem. The nice lady actually told me what’s wrong with it. I hope other people won't have this problem in the future.

Best Buy - Camera Price Guarantee Review from Scottsdale, Arizona

I purchased a Samsung camera on 7-4-2014 for 179.95. A week later Frys has it advertised for 149.95. When I tried to make use of their price guarantee they wouldn't honor it because I bought a brown camera and they said the Frys camera was black. Same model, just a different color. REALLY?

Yea really, it is a different product because of the color. That's like wanting a stainless steel fridge for the price of a black one.

People have no understanding of things from a business perspective and it's scary. Next time check the colors first at different places and then buy it.

PRICING SCAM.... Went to buy the Olympus Tough TG850 today for $90 off so $179 (in flyer). THEN I see the regular price is $219. So clearly they added a dollar store total garbage neoprene "case" for it (that every other camera has already)... claim that's worth $50 ... and then claim the camera is now $90 off?? really? REALLY?? The camera guy in the store said that must be an old price and old tag, and that couldn't possibly be the case. Ya, more so they forgot to pull that off before pulling this scam. it's even still on the website. I left it due to the shady business practices alone. I don't need a crystal ball to see how future dealings with them will be like. Pathetic
