Visited your store on 8/27/14 had an associate assist me in looking for a power station. She took me over. I saw most expensive power station were on the top. And less expensive were on the bottom .I pointed to the one on the bottom for 19.99 she pulled it off the peg....

Did they check the tag? Most of the time if its not the same model number then honestly they really don't have to honor it. A customer, such as yourself was probably looking at it and put it in the wrong spot.

Horrible customer service | Best Buy review

We upgraded 3 phones 2 months ago. At that time I prepaid Geek Squad coverage for those 3 phones instead of paying monthly as I had been. At the beginning of last month I was charged the monthly fee on all phones. I called. They said it was for previous month wouldn't happen again. I was charged again 12 days later. Called again. Agent told me all charges including the first ones I called about would be credited. Didn't happen. Spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone this morning and got hung up on. Went to bank and filed claim.

My husband and I visited the Sarasota store looking for an Otter Box Defender Series. The First employee we questioned just pointed a finger and said, "Over there." We found the cases' display. An OFF-DUTY employee, Nicholas Hudson, was passing by and noted our...

$1500.00 samsung tv last 14 months. | Best Buy review

Bought a 55" Samsung TV from best buy and it only lasted 14 mos. luckily I bought warranty, but it's going to take weeks to fix. I'll never go there again. We were platinum plus rewards members, that obviously means nothing. You would think a tv would last a lot longer than that. I had talked to everybody, including corporate. They obviously have enough money and don't need anymore. I think at this time I am going to put a big sign on it and leave it at my parents store. You would think that a store that big they would do more to help their customers. I normally wouldn't have bought warranty, but I'm glad I did. I'd been real pissed if not.

You do know that Best Buy didn't make the TV right? Samsung made a product that lasted 14 months, not Best Buy. As for as the wait on the TV, it could be that Geek Squad is waiting for the parts from Samsung or it could be Best Buy.

Worst buy must be feeble minded to not see this entitled customer that wants the world when there are guidelines to follow in the contract. I also don't see how they're being mouthy but having your name being Worst Buy well we can all agree that is you.

What's the problem? You bought a warranty, your TV is being fixed according to the terms of the warranty you bought.

What were you expecting?

I'm not sure why one would complain if the retailer is standing behind the extended warranty.

Toshiba laptop returned for repair 3 times in 1&1/2 months | Best Buy review

I bought a Toshiba laptop online and received it 10 days later. After 1month it would not boot up. Returned it to Best Buys and they had to send it back to Toshiba, it had a bad hard drive. Lost all info I had on it. Two weeks later I got it back. For two days it would not hook up to my WIFI. It finally hooked up after about 40 tries and I used it that day for about an hour and turned it off and went to bed. The next morning I tried turning it on and the power button would blink and then go out. Best Buys now says I have to bring it in to be fixed AGAIN 3 days later. I told them I wanted to return it for another and they more or less told me I am stuck with this lemon. No more Best Buys purchases for me, wish I would have gone elsewhere first.

False advertising | Best Buy review

Best Buy matches the price of all local retail competitors and major online retailers, including Amazon. Total outright lie, false advertising. Target is selling iPad mini for $199, try to buy it best but. They will use every excuse possible to *** over and not honer their own policy. I don't remember the last time I felt good about a purchase there. Ok, I don't have one hundred words about them, so I am just going to repeat myself. Many retailers implement an "in stock" price match policy. Why should they match the out of stock item?

It's supply and demand. If you want that iPad mini enough, you'll buy it from Best Buy.

As far as price matching goes, it's a loss. In Best Buy's mind, Target might as well take the hit on that sale.

Sometimes a qualifying competitor will advertise a product in ads and on its website as having limited quantities in stock. If the item is out of stock or the competitor has advertised as limited quantities of an item, it is not eligible for price matching.

Likewise, if Best Buy has a product that is advertised as being limited in quantity it will not be eligible for price matching.

Without having the sale details from Target it's hard to know why else they may have declined the price match but this seems a good reason. Also what you call "excuses" and "bait and switch" normal people call Terms and Conditions which I suggest you read.

What good is matching prices on something not in stock?

You're probably just a ***. Thanks for posting the same thing over and over again also. Best Buy will only match prices if the item is in stock.....and if they wouldn't match it then just go to target and buy one.

Best buy poor advise cost me a laptop

This started as a cooling fan error message, I was advised they don't carry fans but if I open laptop, remove the fan buy a replacement fan then they will install it for a fee, clerk describe how to access the laptop, easier said than done, after re-assembly the laptop didn't come on, upon return to store I paid the shipping fee to send it to the geek squad for evaluation, since the repair estimate is higher than the price of the laptop I declined the repair, now to add insult to injury they return the laptop minus the power cord I left with them, when I asked for a manager, it turns out to be the same guy that gave me the bad advise, not even so much as an apology, goodbye best buy, you've seen my last purchase.

Awful Customer Service, Etobicoke, Sherway Location | Best Buy review

I was a loyal customer - always shopped in Best Buy. Today I received an awful customer Service at Sherway Location by Simon (he refused to provide his last name). Not only he didnt help, but he also tried to charge me for a really easy fix (that was fixed by a customer service representative within a minute- that didn't have any special IT background in Staples for free even though my camera was bought at Best Buy) Simon was extremely rude and lied to me. I believe it is absolutely inappropriate; I'm definitely not going to buy anything from the Best Buy

Never again | Best Buy review

been purchasing from the Gainesville Ga Best Buy since the store opened ...I suppose I have spent at least twenty thousand bucks over the years...so I go in a few weeks ago and after twenty minutes of standing alone hovering over the laptops, looking like I really wanted to buy something and observing four employees standing two aisles over and comparing new games to play on laptops or pads, someone finally condescended to wait on me and acted perturbed that I dared ask some questions since I'm an older guy albeit an eyedoctor with masters degrees in physics and microbiology it's not like I'm all that dumb but he acted like I was...so I asked questions about windows 8 and he assured me there would be no major adaptative changes so weeks later after the purchase here I am with a screen that shrinks and enlarges when it decides to and when I am composing on Word the screen disappears so I am in the store today asking what can I do and he tells me too bad I will have to adapt to a new way of dealing with the mouse pad (or whatever you call it) and I asked him what can be done about it and he laughs and says there is no fix and the employees in the area are laughing at me for daring to question them and I ask if I can just give it back for a refund and he says no and laughs more and goes back to hanging around and discussing new computer games with the other employees while continuing to ignore new customers...so I go find my wife who is selecting some music cd's and the lady our age next to her says she had the same exact problem and the same exact too bad so sad attitude from the employees...and I tell them both I would love nothing more that to just go ahead and *** on the floor right then and there but I dare not so we walked out and will NEVER spend another nickel in ANY best buy...so I go over to all the new customers who are being ignored and tell them very loudly of my experience and they walked out of the store ...and to show I do not hide behind anonymity my name is Ed Shannon, Jr. OD Gainesville Ga and I DARE the president of the company to call me....no wonder the company has had to close so many stores in the past couple of years...

Review from Eugene, Oregon | Best Buy review

Have been trying to order a computer for a week now. They were sold out so I went online to order it. My payment didn't go through since my credit card expired 15 days later. Had to order a new credit card. Placed the order again. Not until 4 days later do I hear that the payment did not go through. Called and talked to a manager that was very unhelpful and could only help me speed up shipping by one day when I should have had my computer 3 days ago. Not coming back.
