Their online customer service is outsourced to India and they are completely unable to fix anything or help on anything. Their response is always wait one week or wait 96 hours.
This is so they can get you off the call or off the chat. They dont have any recourse or any reason to help you. Ive had 3 situations in the past 3 months where they have failed to issue a price match that they promised, a refund which they owe me , or even process return . They are completely useless and the only way to corporate is through their wiki site.
Keep in mind that they will mail you a gift card as a substitute As a refund even if you are right and have proven your case. Corporate does not care anymore

Don't bother calling they just hang up.
I got a letter in the mail that said there was a case of fraud on my account. So I called the number in it.
I had to give all my info to verify that it was me before they could tell me the issue. Then the person couldn't get it straight if the issue was someone using my card or me making a payment on my account. Very different things and he just kept asking me to verify that it was me. Yea.
I am not going to verify that its me until you tell me what the transaction was! SO here I am repeatedly asking which it is before I verify and the guy won't tell me! Just keeps speaking over me. And then when I finally get fed up and ask to speak with anyone else he puts me on hold again and again each time coming back and resetting his speech and question as if I didn't say a thing.
Then when he does transfer me the woman he transfers me to asks me to verify again. when I say I want to ask a question before I do that she says no I need to verify my identity before I ask anything when I asked anyway she hung up on me! Then I called again and after 40 minutes I was finally informed that it was neither apparently someone had made a call trying to get the account number and it was flagged. SO what was all that BS about!
And where in the customer service handbook does it say just speak louder saying the exact same thing until the customer gives up? Because all it did was make me mad! SO overall I spent almost 2 hours on 2 calls with 3 different people on something that should have taken 10-15 minutes at most.
And the entire thing was a horrible experience. Also I typed this entire thing while still being on hold for them to close my account and reissue me a new card because apparently that takes longer with best buy then anywhere else I have ever experienced...including the bank.

I request my protection plan with geek squad be cancelled.
I purchased my cell phone from the chatham ontario store on
November 25 2021.
I also purchased the Geek Squad protection with the understanding any issues I was to take the phone to Geek Squad in the store and they would take care of opening a claim and sending the phone away.
August 9 2022 I dropped my phone and the screen went black. Into Geek Squad I go to be told they dont do that and I was to open a claim online.
To say I was not pleased is an understatement!
Calling Geek squad for help is a joke, the menu is so confusing a 30 minute wait to speak with someome is a joke. The call back feature, well I'm still waiting for that call!
Let's just say Im finished with Geek Squad!
Trying to find an email to cancel my plan is a joke, now here i am.
A very unhappy customer.
Never again will I purchase a protection plan through this company!!

Your intentional blockage of real time customer service is the worst progam in modern history. I now have to drive 150 miles for service that NOT ONE OF YOUR NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVES ARE QUALIFIED TO HANDLE.
They are infinitely unintelligent, unable to properly communicate and demonstrate profound ignorance. I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again. (Even though I have purchased thousands of merchandise over the years).
Truly pathetic and gross mismanagement on the part of the truly ignorant company executives who implemented this speatacular disaster of a program. They obviously have ZERO concern for proper customer service issues.

I had a fridge raider delivered on July 1. It was defective it kept getting hot on both sides.
Call customer service. The man spoke very little English and wanted to have someone to repair the refrigerator. Told him several times I will need the refrigerator picked up. He tried to convince me to have a repair man to come out.
I had to go to the store to get my point across. into the second week. I have a refrigerator to be delivered on Friday. They told me they cannot pick it up till Monday.

I could not get the refrigerator picked up, so now I will have two refrigerators sitting in my kitchen with the company coming. Nightmare!!

Best Buy customer service in stores are no better.
I was sent to various stores because no one in the store was available to fix a problem that Best Buy created. One of the Best Buy techs broke my automobile door, and it took a year for me to get an appointment so that someone could try to fix the issue, and now the issue sounds worse than it did before they tried to fix the issue.
All of this started trying to get speakers installed, and the tech took the door panel off of the WRONG door and broke the pin inside the panel to hold the door panel on. I was told to go find the clip for the door, and they will put it on.
I had to think about that and said to myself, "why do I have to find the clip when they broke it"? When I could not find the clip after about 3 months I started calling about them fixing it then COVID struck.
Preferred solution: I would like to have my door repaired to keep it from rattling.

This is a new review because the current one isn't fixed where a hacker got into my laptop because a geek squad agent let them in, I wasnt signed up with them, only through the warranty, so the hackers stole my hard drive. I took my laptop to get fixed they installed Windows 10 when I purchased Windows 11 this laptop isn't even 30 days old.
Then threatened me with a picture of my family installed as my wallpaper on an on my new laptop, and this picture was nowhere on there. If I sue the geek squad, something's going to happen to my family, and that's what I took from the situation, and they need to rectify it.
These Hackers dont have souls now look whats happened with this situation people are in trouble and I dont have a working device. Now all my files are gone, I am not mad about the hackers getting in because geek squad has to be held accountable for this error they should not have retaliated against me by installing the incorrect system because they let a hacker in they should have just gave me a new device since I have my receipt and 30 days havent passed since I purchased it from Best Buy as well as my warranty.

Your 30 dollar loss is from your fat amateur fingers. Should've had it installed but it's easier to deflect blame.
Why would they have an abundance of shields from a product that's over 2 generations old? You're not good looking enough to be this stupid.
