I am 63 years old and handicapped! I purchased a tv to be installed and the old removed! They bring the tv and leave it in a BOX in my living room! I call and say hey whats up they say geek squad on its way that was JUST the delivery.I wait 3,5 hours call abck again!! And was told for another $150.00 they can come back and install and haul away! I say wait i paid for the insatll and the haul away they say no that was cancelled I say by who they have no idea! I said come back and fix what I had ordered they said for $150.00 we will come back!1 I can not believe how they left a 63 year old handicapped lady with a tv in her living room booked up and no help!!!First and last purchas from this place!!!

Keeping my order and $$$ hostage

On 4/29/16 I ordered a system as part of the purchase that I decided on 4/30/16 there were better options, so I called to cancel. They 'noted' the cancellation request. Several calls later, to no avail, the item was still 'in shipping'. On 5/9/16 UPS driver hauled a box to my deck, and I refused it. On 5/10/16 an email said 'sorry, your shipment is delayed, the new date is 6/7/16'. I called again and was told the item was cancelled and I'd receive an email update. No email. On 5/11/16 I was told it was still on order and a 'cancellation request' was pending. I need the cancellation in writing and Best Buy aka Worst Buy USA will not validate the return, nor the cancellation, nor give me a tracking link to the original delivery of the item of question. They have made this experience so horrible! I am so upset! I'm ready to show up with the news media consumer reporters if they cannot find a way to put this in writing that the order is officially cancelled and to refund the $1041.78 back to my newly acquired Best Buy Visa card. Fortunately the card will be available for use at other better stores, not just in-store use. But in the interim, they are holding hostage over half of my line of credit on the card. This whole situation has caused me more than frustration, more mental duress and I'm depressed, exhausted. Best Buy wont give me the UPS tracking number on what was shipped and on it's way back via UPS. When I last spoke to a BB (ball breaking) rep, and asked her to tell me why they could not put into writing the order return cancellation, etc. and I told her that I was audio recording our call, just as they audio record the call for 'better customer service', she clammed up and ended the call. I do have that on audio if you 'd like to hear it!

They would not update my address and then charged a late fee

I moved. Best Buy was the only credit card company that would not update my address over the phone. I guessed my minimum payment and missed by two dollars. They charged me a 27.00 dollar late fee. When I called to complain they were horrible and rude. They insisted I should have known I was off by two dollars. They even admitted they refused to change my address. I guessed at the minimum payment because I did not get a bill and I missed by two dollars and they charged me $27.00 dollars for a late fee. I will refrain from ever buying anything at Best Buy again.

I bought a LG stainless steel dishwasher from Best Buy for a rental property. When opening the dishwasher door, the appliance falls forward as the brackets holding it in place are not working.

I think the dishwasher was not installed correctly, 1 year & 9 months ago. The installation is now out of warranty. Ever heard of a dishwasher falling forward?? Me neither!

Best Buy doesn't care, out of warranty, and besides they contract out their installations. Just a poor job in the first place. XPO was the contractor.

I have a complaint in with them. Just disappointed I bought from Best Buy as I want them to stand behind products & services.

A nightmare with lies and delays

I'm over it with the incompetents at Best Buy. I ordered a Whirlpool washer/dryer and was told it would be 4 weeks, as it was backordered. I foolishly accepted that delay and I had a delivery date. I was told I would get an email before the delivery date confirming the delivery. I got no email. I called today (Saturday) re: the delivery on Monday. I was told so many different things by 7 different people over the course of 2 hours 34 minutes on the phone today, including one supervisor, that my head is still spinning. I am certain I was lied to by at least two of them, as 2 other gave completely opposite info. I don't believe anyone. My fourth call seemed promising, but the call was disconnected after 50 minutes on the phone and the next person tried to be a hero and failed. No one is able to help me or fix the delay. The problems are all internal, but I am the victim. My credit card has been charged, but I have no items. The supervisor confirmed the fourth person's offer to give me a 10% discount, but I will only believe that when I see it. The fifth call ended up with a delivery date with yet another 10 day delay. Earlier today it was only a one day delay. Waiting 43 days for a budget Whirlpool washer/dryer is just egregious. But it is the lies and the time suck that really have me livid. Never again will I do business with these inept, lying flakes.

Best Buy continues to sell Insignia TVs that they know are defective! For more than a decade, consumers have complained that Insignia TVs go to a black screen while watching. Remote control and manual buttons don't respond. Our 5 month old Insignia TV eventually comes back on for now, but according to other consumers, it will eventually quit doing that too. Best Buy used to sell a very dependable Dynex brand, but has quit carrying that brand, while continuing to sell the defective Insignia brand. Your greed is really starting to show, Best Buy! Your customers may be in the market for a new TV sooner rather than later, but it won't be to your benefit since your customers will no longer enter your doors! Your associate suggested I buy a new TV to use for the 3 weeks we would be without, while the TV is fixed under warranty, replacing the defective part with a new defective part. Nice try! Cutting my losses on this one and will never be back to Best Buy.

Horrible Delivery Service

This is the second time Best Buy delivery has delivered an item to me to find it broken after they leave. First was when we renovated our kitchen last August. They used a hand cart to bring in the appliances and left them just sitting there 9,700 in products. They were supposed to be unwrapped and put in place. It wasn't until after we removed all the blue film that we saw 2 large dents from the hand truck on the door of the double oven. Took 2 weeks to replace the unit and we were told we could not use it in the mean time! Just today an order I placed for a 65" TV that took over 3 weeks to come in was dropped off. When I say dropped off that was literally all they did. No unboxing, inspection, function test, not a thing! After the issue with the Range I demanded they open the box and we looked it over. I pointed out that the corner was obviously damaged. The surround is aluminum and it was bent as well as all the packaging was crushed on that corner. They assured me everything was ok and they see this frequently. They said to hold onto the box "just in case". I had a Home Theater installer start installing the audio system and when they got to hanging the TV what do you know the glass is spider cracked right from that corner! Furious I called the shipper and he stated he would get me a replacement, an hour later with us standing around he said he could not get in touch with the warehouse so the Installer had to wait for me to contact Best Buy directly. I then called Best Buy and spoke to a woman who wanted nothing to do with resolving this issue. She said there was nothing they could do... my reply "You just delivered a 4,000 TV and it is broken due to your negligence and there is nothing you can do!" She attempted to blame me stating they unpackaged and inspected it before leaving. I stopped her in her tracks, there were 5 witnesses to this damage while it was still in the box and even the delivery men admitted to me noting the damage! They have NEVER unboxed or done any assembly on dozens of items that have been delivered. I demanded to speak to her manager. I was told he was not working. I hung up and called again requesting a manager not stating my issue. Long long story short I finally got to speak to supposedly the highest person at customer service. After 3 hours of being on hold and going back and forth I was told they do not have another TV available to deliver but they'll take the broken one today, but not remove the charge from my card. Obviously I knew what was going to happen, I was going to end up with a 4,000 bill and no TV. Not to mention I had to pay the installer 600 to install the TV and mount and now I have to pay him 600 AGAIN whenever the new TV finally shows up! The manager couldn't have cared less. He laughed and offered a $50 Best Buy gift card. That just further infuriated me. I took a day off, that was a loss of $300, the installer charged me $600 (not his fault it was broken) now another $600 to re-install everything. I do not find a 4k broken TV and a $900 loss to me let alone the inconvenience to be funny at all. So I was sent a date over a week out but was told it "might" not be available by then since it's a new model. I will be called THE DAY BEFORE its coming! How can I schedule the Installer and get the day off without notice? I have no choice but to wait for a call for when this will be replaced. Then I am out another 600 to have the broken TV repacked and the replacement installed. I told him they will be staying until the Installer is done because I will not be accused of causing this damage again. He stated it's not their job, well this time it will be! In 1 year we have spend over 19k in appliances and electronics from Best Buy. We will NEVER purchase from Best Buy again. Right now I'm looking at a 4k TV that looks like a lightning bolt on a black screen. The kids are so disappointed, they planned a sleepover to watch Disney Movies this weekend in the new theater. What a horrible experience!!

Bought a freezer 7 months ago and talked to to customer service and said no problem go to local store pick out another freezer(dont carry that feeezer any more. Get to store and whole different story. We cant hekp you did not buy our warrenty have to call igloo need ra number and dont know if cover or not. I askwd you dont stand by product you sale and manger says i not like i have a warehouse here to take things back and fix thing that break. The girl and manger laughing as we left the store. I guess they dont care about a customer because they can ripe off the next 5 that walk in the door. Well this customer will tell everyone i see not to be fooled like i was with a name brand store

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION

I Have had the same problem. I literally have been calling everyday for a week...and only get them occasionally after being on hold for 30-60 min. I did not go there in person b/c I'm waiting to find out if my dishwasher is ready for pick up. The corporate Best buy customer service tells me it's ready for pick up as of wednesday. When I call on Thursday to check, they say it's not there. Again waiting on hold. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They need to answer their phone calls. Never ordering anything thing from them again.

Cell Phone Prices Deceptive

Best Buy advertises cell phones for sale, but then does not mention you will be paying hundreds more for the phone by the carrier. The advertised price of $49.99 for a Samsung S7 is a lie. You can walk out the door buy paying that plus another fee, but then over the course of a contract, you end up paying hundreds more. Many never realize this. I had an on line associate (Mike G,) tell me I could hand over my $49.99 + the $40 fee and my monthly bill would not change at all. That is not true.

Worst Buy - Kennesaw GA

850 Cobb Pl Ln NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144 My wife purchased a top of the line, all the bells and whistles Surface Pro 4 (with accessories) for Christmas. She was even smart enough to get the extended warranty (total cost $2500). I was thrilled...until it froze, battery died after 2 hrs, then wouldn't turn on every time, sometimes brought up screen keyboard/sometimes not, and other problems. We took it back to Best Buy, who said there was nothing wrong with it. Took it to another Best Buy who said there was definitely something wrong, but to take it back to Kennesaw, where she had bought it. So...after 6 months of trying to get Best Buy to look at it we went back to Georgia. The experience was HORRIBLE!!! The Geek Squad guy was rude and made me stand for an hour (with no other customers there) just to make an appointment to hand it to him - NOT to fix it - just to hand it to him. I spoke with the manager about it and he said "I don't care. We have great reviews with this system. Everyone is happy with it." I told him I wasn't happy with it. Again he said "I don't care. We like it." I was shocked, but as long as they fixed my Surface... NOT!!!! I get a call the next day..."there is nothing wrong with it"! What!!!??? Nothing wrong with it? The geek guy couldn't even get it to turn on right away. He had to force shutdown. it froze on login. The battery lasts 2 hrs instead of 9 (as advertised) with nothing running on it. How can there be nothing wrong with it. What did the manager say? What did geek say? You guessed it! "I don't care. It's not our machine."!!! So after 6 months, 3 Best Buys and an uncaring staff and management - I STILL have a $2500 paper weight!

Price adjustment

I purchased a tv July 5th 2016 and in bestbuy current ad the tv dropped a 120 dollars cheaper and my receipt date was four days after the date I could receive a price adjustment. bestbuy told me it was not anything they could do for me and was not really concern with my issue. I guess they would rather lose a customer than to grant a request that i know could be done. I was four days late, I purchased the tv in the same month and no one would help me. They have lost me completely as a customer and I will tell all my friends and family to stop supporting businesses who give you a hard time on returning an item or trying to get a price adjustment thanks a million for nothing

I bought a washing machine 2 months ago, the machine doesn't drain anymore... been told by best buy to call the geek squad... This morning (july 7) I called at 11:17, had to hang up (crazy to think but I do have things to do in life) at 14:54 nobody answered... Had to listen to extremely boring music (make me remembered an old 80's ***). Crazy! Customer service?!!! what service, they don't even answer. Please, I need to speak to someone. maybe I should call earlier in the morning, hire some guy to stay on the phone until he gets an answer and then I should hangup .....

I was asked by my father, who has a small business, to buy an iMac 27" computer today. Out names is on the business account, but I don't make many purchases, so instead of the card, I carry 2 business checks. Yes I know, who writes checks these days!?! but even with how unpopular check writing is in today's world, we still need to write checks for personal use and business use. If you don't have direct deposit, you get paid with a check. So anyway, I walk into the Best Buy store in Portland Oregon's Jantzen Beach Shopping Center to purchase the iMac. I get to the register, write the check, ask the clerk if the check is ran through like a debit and was told, "kind of." After a few seconds, the check is handed back to me and the clerk looks at me and says, "the check was declined"! Hu? Printed on the back of the check is, "Our decision not to accept yor check is based, in part, on advise from TeleCheck." I was shocked and embarrassed! This was totally humiliating, and there was no reason the check should have been declined. I should have just walked out, but other customers were looking at me. So I paid with my personal visa. So humiliating! after I got home and fully read all the print on the back of the check and looked up some info on line, that Was when I realized that BEST BUY set up the perimeters with telecheck. Now I really wished I just left Best Buy. What kink of company would agree to match up with a check service that didn't get some personal data bank info on the customer befor declining check. I call the bank, nothing was wrong. I call telecheck, and they said we didn't write enough checks.

You seem like a really petty customer. For one, since when does a store like BBY allow you to casually pick up a $2000+ computer and walk up to the checkout station?

Normally you would need assistance from an associate and they grab it for you and typically handle the transaction on the spot, not at the front registers. 2nd, what does BBY got to do with TeleCheck declining your check? Its not their fault...

Also, lets say there was a line of ppl behind you and you were at the cashier lane (which i doubt) do you really think they gave a *** whether ur *** was getting declined or not? Stop being such an uptight snob and get over yourself.

I doubt the customers behind you were snickering and calling you names. If anything all they cared about was the transaction taking longer.
