You do realize that Best Buy does not make the products that are for sell in their store right? Your Samsung or Sony TV doesn't say Best Buy it has the name of the manufacturer on it.

Once it's out out of the return policy it is out of their hands. Why do you think that you're entitled or too special to not follow the same policy that everyone else does?

I had no idea you and your husband were royalty and the rules don't apply to you. Stop your whining and call the manufacturer.

Reward certificate | Best Buy review

I have received this mail and was happy to be an Elite member ID # 1024163177. I received previously a mail with a reward certificate # 1075959507 for the amount of $90.00 expiry date Oct 04/2014. I guess for all the computing equipments I bought at your west LA shop in the months of July and August this year. Today I went to the same Best Buy to buy another Notebook tried using my certificate but it was not accepted after they called the main office and spending well over an hour they told me that they are not sure of the reason and my case needs to be reviewed. As I have never used previously the certificate and that was confirmed by your personnel. I found this really not acceptable to receive a certificate from an establishment like yours and be treated this way. I am sorry to bring to your attention that the way you are treating your customers, no wonder why Best Buy has the kind of reputation in financial establishments. M.Panahpour

False advertisement | Best Buy review

I went in to best buy to buy a xbox one because of the sale paper, madden 15 package with a free game and a free two membership in there gamers club. They didn't have the madden package in stock, but the sale associate said you maybe able to get it online. I got it online but the store would not honor the gamers club membership and the corporate office just put it back on the store sayings the store should have ordered it for you online. So I went back into the store with this information and the said the sale is over so we can't do anything about it now, what a joke

Best Buy's, and every store's, sales are almost always "while supplies last". They ran out, you missed the sale. Nothing to throw a tantrum about, it's standard operating procedure in a retail setting.

The geek squad sucks. My son has a iphone4, and when we took it for repair, they gave us a hard time. I loved going there before the geek squad, you could get a replacement phone with a 50 dollar deposit until you phone came in. Also, my husband bought a laptop for traveling , he bought a very expensive warrenty, it was suppose to cover EVERYTHING, it got a cracked screen and they refused to replace it. Another computer we had for home, it did not last 6 months and it crashed, they couldn't find any information on it, and we lost the reciept, they tried to tell us we did not purchase the computer there. We ended up contacting compact and they helps us with our computer.

I had the extended warranty and they still wanted to charge $700.00 for repair. They did not want to honor the contract. They might fix my problem but as of now I am low priority even with the extended warranty. Save your money! The geek squad is a crock of *** and I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AGAIN!!!! They only want to sell their new ***, so be ware when shopping best buy!!! Do not buy the extended warranty. They make a ton of money off that piece of *** and they will not honor it. You had better keep all receipt and paper work when you make you purchase. When you call, they will say we are I Kentucky and I don't know who took your call or the technician is new.

I've been reading on this site, more and more, about how retail shops are starting to no honor their extended warranty. I have no idea why they would do this.

Your right. NEVER purchase an extended warranty - there not worth the paper there printed on.

Most new devices are throw aways, or, can be repaired by simply replacing one of the 2-4 boards.

Best Buy - Installation Review from Little Elm, Texas

Bad experience with Best Buy installers ! They damaged my wall, caused a severe leak in my utility room ! I requested they pay for the damages caused by the poor installers and they have been giving me the run around since FEBRUARY ! BEST BUY uses a third party to settle claims and they are HORRIBLE !!!! They say they will call you back but NEVER do , that is until I called corporate - then I get a call back ! I hope to eventually solve this but will never buy anything from BEST BUY That require installation -

Best Buy - Refurbished Computer Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania

I bought a refurbished computer less than a month ago to use for school. It was always slow but in the last few days it has been freezing up completely when I try to use the Internet and I have to shut it down. I called and they said all they can do is have me take it to the store and have it diagnosed, which starts at $69.99. I reiterated that I had just purchased this computer. She said there was nothing else they can do. It's possible the repair may be covered under warranty, but I would still have to pay for the diagnosis.

Of course you have to pay for the diagnostics. Why are you so entitled or special that the rules don't apply to you?The services they offer are not free.

When you buy a car from a dealership and need work done on it, you take it back to the dealership and 9/10 times you'll have to pay for the service you want done. Same thing if you take it to a regular mechanic, you don't expect free work done from them.

Getting your computer diagnosed or worked on is no different. You're just an entitled diva

I have yet to purchase anything refurbished that actually worked. A couple of years ago or so I bought a Tom Tom GPS.

It went haywire in 8 months. I sent it for warranrty/replcement. A week later they sent me a refurbished replacement.

It had the same problem. My advise is buy new but not from Best Buy.

I went to a Best Buy store this morning at 9:30, and I waited outside in the rain to be the first in line to pre order the iphone 6+. It turned out that Best Buy is not doing pre orders for the plus yet.. The employees did not even know what they were doing and told me to leave.. Yes, it is Best Buy's fault that you waited out in the rain until the store opened to try to preorder the new iphone. They didn't make you do anything.

And they DO advertise when they're taking preorders. They don't keep it a secret. This is the most ridiculous review I've ever read. Next time be an adult and do some research first.

A simple phone call is all it takes. You're an entitled, immature child who needs to grow up and stop blaming other people for the ridiculous *** that you do.

Couldn't even get waited on | Best Buy review

9-11-2014 Wife and I went shopping for a new washer/dryer. Had pretty much decided on an LG or Samsung brand due to high consumer ratings. On way to 1st store, had wife call Best Buy, Eastview Mall, Victor, Ny to ask if they sold either LG or Samsung. Got put on hold, and after 5 minutes hung up. Went to store anyway. Spent 15 minutes in appliance Dept...looking over models and comparing. Not once did anyone even approach us and ask if they could help us. (Thursday, 12:30pm, store was not busy). I walked over to entrance, and asked young lady if maybe she could find someone to wait on us. Walked back to appliance dept., and waited. After 10 minutes we left, telling the lady we were tired of waiting, and were heading to Lowes, which we did. Not only did we get the same model Samsung, but saved an additional 10%...and we were waited in almost immediately when we entered. So thanks Best Buy..your total lack of customer service saved me an additional $126.00 Doug V. Middlesex, NY
