Customer support for wi-fi issue with HP Envy laptop

I was having Wi-Fi issues with my HP Envy 360 laptop at home. It was disconnecting intermittently and my husband's Dell laptop was not having the same issue. We had purchased the laptop at Best Buy and I had taken it in for them to evaluate but they were going to have to keep it for a few days. I called HP while at Best Buy and was told by the tech that they felt it could be resolved over the phone. I then sent 3 days with them on the phone and it was not resolved. Eventually I was assigned a case manager and she did a great job of communicating and was very professional. However, due to traveling issues I was unable to get the laptop to HP and decided to have Best Buy deal with looking at the laptop (since the 3 different help desk tech people could not resolve the problem) and they could send it to HP if needed. The HP case manager had reached out asking what the status was and I had told her that I would get back to her after finding out what Best Buy could do. Best Buy thought they had resolved it,however, it happened again (additionally the space bar was not working properly). I contacted our internet provider who sent a new modem. Set it up and still had the problem. I contacted the HP Case Manager by phone and email on at least 3 different occasions (total of 6 times I reached out) and never got a response at all which I was completely surprised at because she had been so wonderful before. Needless to say, I am extremely frustrated that I spent $850 on a laptop that I have not been able to use and have spent at least 10 hours on phone calls and backing up data, setting things back up, etc. trying to get this resolved. I was told by the Geek Squad that I could not return the laptop and I was not getting a response from HP - I called the help desk and tried to get to a supervisor, but no luck. I just kept getting the number back to the case manager who was not responding. Eventually I took it back to Best Buy who kept it for a couple of weeks. I received back from Best Buy on 9/15 and they indicated that the Wi-Fi card was replaced and the space bar was replaced. However, when I set up the laptop and started typing the B was not working. Completely unacceptable - I could not believe it. All of this started in June of this year and it is now 9/15 and there are constant problems. I am told that Best Buy will not let me return it and I cannot get anyone at HP to do anything!!!!! Extremely frustrating. I then went back to Best Buy and spoke with the manager who did take the laptop back and gave me credit. I will never, ever buy an HP product again. And, am completely at a loss why it was so difficult to get support after the problem was initially handled by HP had been done at such a great level.

Best Buy - Geek Squad Home Theater System Installation Review

I purchased 2 home theater systems, installation on the two theater systems, and added the installation of 5 TVs. This was scheduled 12 days out and the evening prior to the install I was left a voice mail that they could only install 2 TVs because I didn't pay for the other three TVs. Furthermore, once the Greek Squad arrived they informed my wife that we didn't pay for installing the home theater systems either, they would not hook the speakers up. When my wife became frustrated with the news because she was holding a receipt with about $600 worth of installation service fees paid in the store, the two Geek Squad empliyees went out to the truck to make a phone call and just drove off. No installation, nor did they deliver the merchandise we purchased. I even went to the Hot Springs store and was willing to pay whatever additional cost needed to make the scheduled install date. They only informed me they didn't have time and they had other customers, as if I wasn't a customer. I am now sitting in the store since 8 pm and its 917 and the store is now closed trying to get a refund - Buyer Beware. If you schedule installation by the Geek Squad and an incompetent employee rings up tbe install- I promise you the results will be incomprehensible.

losing FAITH - this will be my LAST appliance purchase from BEST BUY - it is truly the fourth attempt to deliver my purchase of a Refrigerator - NEW ! first time we waited and waited - no delivery man--- oops it is BACKORDERED - failed to deliver that information - THEN TWO TIMES - on two different occasions they pull up in the rented truck - with a scratch and dent product - what a scam - NOW i am waiting - in the LAST HOUR of what is our delivery timeframe - NO CALL - nothing ---- I AM VERY SKEPTICAL

Don't hold your breath, the organization is so large that no one is accountable and could care less if the customer is happy. I waited on 3 deliveries that never came, spent 10 hours on the phone with various case managers and customer service reps, 5 hours in store trying to get things resolved. Finally just cancelled the order, best part is they won't refund me because they can't find my particular appliance in the delivery warehouse (probably why it was never delivered you think?)- doesn't make sense and they give no authority to the employees at the store to try and make things right.

My wife and went looking for a new tv. After taking to the salesman he educated me on the new Sony Bravia 65". One of the features that sounded good to me was the live 3D tv feature. I got it home and was impressed by the 3D movies but did not know how to get it to do 3D live. I went back to the store and talked to the same salesman about this feature and he did some research to find out that it did not have this feature. The store apologized and said they could not give me a return. There customer service is sub-par. We also shopped for a new laptop and after talking to another salesman he steered us in the direction of and HP computer. After we decided to buy the computer he said that they did not have any laptops in stock. Frustrated i asked why he would try to sell us a computer that they do not even have. He blamed the corporate store and said that they decide how much inventory they are allowed to have and that they just received an inventory truck the day before but they did not get any laptops with the order. They told me that it would be a waste of my time to complain to corporate. I hate this store and will not go back!

Horrible Delivery Service!

I took the day off from work to accommodate the 4 hour window of time that my delivery would occur ( 8am- 12 noon). It is now 1 pm and still no delivery.

After holding with a phone operator for 30 min. I was told I was #8 and the deliverer was currently on #5. So I need to wait longer for this delivery. I was told it could be another 45 min or longer.

In my opinion if the delivery was going to be delayed than a phone call should have been made.

I am very disappointed with this delivery. I understand that this is a busy holiday time, but then hire additional drivers, or at least let the customer know it could be longer.

It's commonly known that big box store delivery services are always late. Either buy local or plan accordingly. I always assume I'm going to be waiting on them for most of the day.

I have the same problem, right now!! My window was 12-4..

I got a hold of them at 415, only for theme to say they can't get ahold of anyone from the warehouse and call back know an hour.

I'm pissed. Which number did u call???

Best Buy - Customer Care Review

The web site said that the first persons in line get a ticket to buy the new Nes gaming system. We got in line 1 hour before the store opened and the Best Buy employee came out and said they gave out all the tickets at 4:00 am.? No where on the websites said that they would be handing out the tickets before the store opened. So we drove 35 min to just be Sent away.,, this is bull and they are going to give out tickets they need to put on the site that they will start at a curtain time... That way everyone can have a chance to buy it and not just the employees.....,,

Bought a washer and dryer. Tech cam and installed. Dryer did not work. He refused to take it back. Called the store and was told there was nothing they could do. We had to come to store and complain. Called several times and got the run around. Went to the store and same thing. Manager was on the phone with tech and then handed it off to someone else that knew nothing. Had to find another superviser. Took over an hour and might get another dryer in a week and a half. Its already been oner a week. Cant do laundry. Still have nroken dryer and lots of stress from untrained very unhelpful and rood people. Will never buy here again

I purchased 2 appliances at the cost of 1608.00 and could not get the delivery set up, I went into the store to cancel with the manager, and I use that term loosely, and was assured my refund (I paid cash) would be processed that day, Oct. 19. After 1 week Shania called me to tell me she processed my refund! WTH! It should have been sent by then, well it is now Nov 1. and still no refund. HH Gregg will get my business from now on, I went there got my stuff the next day and my rebate already came back! Where is my refund???? I will never shop there again !

Do not buy appliances from them!!!!

I ordered an oven from Best Buy last month and I will never order another appliance from them again. The day of delivery I waited at home but no one arrived or called to give me an update during the delivery window. I had to call best Buy Customer Service and wait on hold till they could contact the distributor. I was informed that they were running an hour and a half behind schedule. Two hours later while out picking up my children from school I received a call from the delivery men saying "we will be there in 15 minutes and you'd better be ready for us". Needless to say I was furious that I had waited all morning and now they had the nerve to tell me I'd better be ready. The oven was delivered and installed but a few days later when reading the user's manual I realized they did not install the anti-tip bracket on the oven which is required by Federal law for safety reasons. I contacted customer service once again and made an appointment to have the anti-tip bracket installed. Fast forward to the morning of my appointment and I receive a phone call from he technician asking what he is supposed to be doing for me. When I told him I needed the anti-tip bracket installed he told me he doesn't have them and won't be able to take care of it today. I am seriously disappointed in the Best Buy Customer Service experience. ****Update*** After calling customer service and telling them the service professional said he was unable to install the anti-tip bracket I was told someone from the warehouse would contact me by the end of the day to set up another service appointment. A week later I still hadn't received a phone call and called Best Buy again. Ater being on hold for 20 min I was told a case manager was assigned to my complaint and she would call me by the end of the day Unfortunately I never heard from her. When I called Best Buy again the next day and waited on hold 15-20 min again I was transferred to someone in the warehouse who told me there was never a case manager assigned to me and that she would assign one and that they should call me within an hour. I am waiting to see what happens and will update later.****

when i showed my receipt to get my game from the locked Gage the game was not there so he asked the floor manager to get the one of the table from the front ,and luckily there was one there . so they had my receipt but i still owned tax on that part and i told that best buy person to get all the the money . so i can just pick it up but no they TOLD me that i owed money. asked for the manager and he said sorry either pay or we put it back. For $80 dollar game . THE BEST BUY WILL BE THE LAST TIME I GO THERE I WILL BUY ALL MY PARTS FROM AMAZON FROM NOW ON . THANKS FOR NOTHING

Best Buy won't refund for damaged TV

I've been trying to get my money back for an item purchased at BestBuy.com. I've made several attempts and calls to get my money back on a TV and it's been almost 2 months since purchase. I ordered a 50" TV and it was delivered damaged. I Called Customer Service on the day of delivery to report the damage. They instructed that I had 2 options: 1) Have a replacement sent out or 2) Return it to my local store to get a replacement. I chose to return the TV to my local store to avoid the potential of another damaged TV being sent to me. However, when I got to the store 2 days later I was told that the store does not accept damaged TV's that were ordered from BestBuy.com. I was there for 3 hours while the manager called Customer Service to find out why they sent me to the store with a damaged TV. I also learned 2 valuable pieces of information: 1) BestBuy.com and Best Buy the store are 2 separate entities, and the store is not obligated to follow BestBuy.com policies and 2) Each store manager can refuse to accept a returned TV, but they are not obligated to refuse. Each store manager has the option to accept a BestBuy.com TV return if they choose to. So, the store manager I dealt with just didn't want the hassle of my return, and could have accepted the TV and provided my replacement, if they chose to. In fact, they didn't even have my exact model in stock, so I was willing to upgrade to the model they did have and would have gladly paid the difference in price. But alas, I was sent away. The Manager scheduled the pick up of the damaged TV, and I drove the item back home. Two days later UPS picked up the TV. 3 days later I received the replacement TV. I asked the UPS delivery person to stand there and watch while I opened the TV box, which he graciously did. The replacement TV was also damaged and I asked him to please note that the TV was indeed damaged in case of any future dispute. I called Best Buy Customer Service and reported the damage to the 2nd TV. Interestingly, it's at this point when all the issues BEGAN. I've had to call to get Best Buy to issue a pick up notice to UPS, twice. I've called 3 times since Best Buy received the damaged TV in to their warehouse. I've called 3 different offices today alone, just to get someone to send me proof that my refund in in fact, being processed. As of this moment, I'm on hold with the 4th department I've been transferred to to discuss this issue. Customer Service, Customer Complaints at Headquarters, Primary Support Department, and Post Purchase Support Department have all told me the same thing: the refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days, yet no one can get me tangible evidence that a refund is actually being processed. And, every single time I call I'm told that either my issue was sent to the wrong department or that the requests haven't been sent at all. I need my money back, please.

I bought a Lenovo edge 2 computer in April on a real good deal. Original price was $900 on sale for $650. In Sept it had a battery issue and was returned to Lenovo from Best Buy. Now told it cannot be fixed and discontinued. Best Buy ordered one from another store and it would take a week to get it. I was good with that. Now they say they don't have one. They will not give me my money back. Only an in store gift card. I want a like computer but they will not do that without me paying the difference in price. I either want a like computer for what I paid or my money back so I can go elsewhere. Getting the royal run-around.
