I'm shopping for an i pad air and I see Best Buy has a BIG pre sale on them for Black Friday. So I go to their site yup there's the AD and I try to buy one. But my on line purchase could only go so far and then the on line system stops. I call their Customer Service Dept and guess what, they don't sell i pad's, they just fake advertise that they do and then try and sell you something else. I thought that false advertising for something you don't sell was illegal?

Best Buy opposite of customer service

Despite what your eyes tell you and if you get in store service, what the sales staff tell you, Best Buy is just a warehouse, when you walk out with a product you bought from Best Buy you are on your own. I bought an appliance at Best Buy that needed service, naturally we called Best Buy, their repair staff, and I use that term loosely, literally made 6 trips to my house and all that time no use of the appliance. Finally their 800# told us they would send some one out who would help us contact the manufacturer and work out an exchange, Best Buy didn't show up for that appointment, nor did they call to reschedule or explain, they couldn't fix the unit and left us out to dry. In fact, out right lied and apparently think nothing of that type of behavior, even at the top management. Despite several sites like this one where Best Buy has terrible feedback they manage a A rating with the BBB which now shows me even the BBB can't be trusted. For more evidence I filed a complaint with the BBB in which Best Buy did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. The first time I've ever had a company just give me the middle finger on a BBB complaint. One of the occasions while waiting for a repair we received 3 boxes of parts for the unit, the day comes the repair guy shows up he looks at the machine, says try using baking soda, turns on the machine and leaves before making sure it will work, he says call him if it don't, and it didn't. So we call the next day, he says he needs to order a part. Really? he leaves with 3 boxes of parts, he replaced nothing and he still needs to order a part? So I had to deal directly with the manufacturer. They sent some one out to fix the unit, this was recent so I'm not sure if the story end here or not. I also filed a complaint with my states attorney as I told "customer care" I would after their rejection via the BBB.

I went to the Store to buy the Motorola 360 Smart Watch | Best Buy review from Richmond, Virginia

WELL I TRIED!!!! and to be exact I went 7 times on a period of almost 2 months looking for the gadget that sits at their Display (Demo only) every time I asked they were out of stock, ok went back Today and they said they Will no longer have the item at the store, Sad Because I love to go to the store and pick up my Electronics and gadgets but I guess I should order from Amazon or any other Online Store that so far When I need to buy there is alway something in Stock. and yeah I know I can order online from them too but again that was not the point ....

The problem with that situation is BestBuy's contract with their vendors. They get the product on display theres no stock because the manufacturer doesn't produce enough and they rush production and market the *** out of the product.

Then when it doesn't sell well the vendor pulls the product. Welcome to corporate America. Furthermore android wear is the glorified competitor to the Samsung tizen watches. I said "Glorified" because it is glorified.

Android wear is in beta stage and was hyped up severely. I work at BestBuy and most of those watches get returned because they don't have $200 worth of useful features. My recommendation is to wait a few more months and see what's going on in the smartwatch world. The gear neo is my favorite smart watch right now.

But I'm not impressed by any of the others. The Samsung gear live isn't bad and honestly the moto 360 got bad feedback. But I really think its due to the lack of android wear functionality. Android wear has a completely different mission.

Its job is to present you with the information you want at your fingertips without you asking.

It doesn't have a ton of multimedia functionality. Anyway have a good night :)

Pacific Kitchen Horrible Service and Deliver | Best Buy review from Boynton Beach, Florida

I purchased a refrigerator from Pacific Kitchen in Best Buy. The original representative said that the refrigerator I wanted wasn't in stock but he could work on having it shipped on an expedited basis so I purchased it. Two weeks later, after hearing nothing from Pacific about delivery, I called and they informed me that the model I bought was discontinued. It was me who had to call them to find that out 2 weeks later. I went to the store in person and Greg Dalton the store manager said " it happens". He was unsympathetic and unapologetic. He said all he could do was place an order for a different refrigerator which would take atleast another 2 weeks to deliver, as if I had walked in to order it for the first time that day. No discount. No expediting. No apology. I had tenants that could not wait so I got a refund. I went to Sears and they had almost the exact same refrigerator for a lower price and Sears got it to me the "next day". Go with Sears. Pacific fails in customer service and delivery.

My parents had purchased a Acer Laptop from best buy for my birthday. (by the way this was my first computer) My parents were suggested this computer from a Best Buy employee, she had said its good for college students, LIE. I could not stay on the computer for more than 15 minutes without it restarting and erasing all the work i had done. VERY RARELY it would stay longer than that. When I came to Best Buy wanting to return the computer they told me i couldn't do that, because it had passed the 3 month mark. (a few week over the 3 month mark) after a long discussion with the employee, they told me to purchase a antivirus cd(i thought all my issues were fixed at that point) it worked for MAYBE a week, and than had went back to its previous issues i.e: restarting, freezing...etc. I had went to Best Buy again to see what they could do, they offered their 'geek squad' services, and again like the cd, it worked for a week and than went back to its issues again. I went back to best buy to see what else i can do, they offered their geek squad services again, i used it a final time and had the same issues again. When i went back they offered the same thing i told them " so every other week i am supposed to go to geek squad when this reoccurs" they had nothing to say but yes. I am stuck with this computer and my parents had lost a large amount money because of this product. Best Buy has horrible products and service as well, I will never return to this company again for ANYTHING.

1) It took you 3 months to realize your computer would only stay on for 15 minutes tops?

2) It's within 1 year since the purchase, just call Acer and use your manufacturer warranty.

Purchased a iBeats ear buds with the $14.99 2 yr replacement Warranty. Now the buds are having an issue cable not working getting static loss of sound. Brought it to Best Buy for what I thought a full replacement but they say I have to pay the difference between the ones I purchased that are no longer made iBeats that I purchased with price match for $79.99 original price was $99.99 had to go with the closest type urBeats that are 99.99 so they made me pay the diff between 27.99 w/tax that's not right.

Best buys accident insurance don,t cover accidents

best buys accident insurance apparently dont cover accidents. I left my galaxy3 on my tool box and drove off, It fell and got ranover. they said it was abuse not an accident. by that logic.any accident is abuse. but when I took it out they said it covered getting run over or droped off a building. they said just bring in the pieces.the geeksquad manager admitted to me they lie to sell those warrenties, and also admitted they are full of holes. even after the whole store heard me saying how their accident warrenty didn,t cover accidents they still refused to do anything. even after they seen i spent over 8000 dollars their in the last 2 years. Ill never spend another cent their again.

It is clearly stated in the terms and conditions of the protection plan that running over a product with a vehicle will not be covered. Much like driving your car into a lake would not be covered by your car insurance you should familiarize yourself with the plans you agree to. Your situation sounds astoundingly negligent on your part and legally best buy doesn't have to assume liability with your claim.

WARNING: CALL BEFORE PICK-UP!!!! I ordered a charger that was "In-Stock" yesterday and paid online. When I went to pick it up today, they told me the order was cancelled because they couldn't find it. The customer service rep offered no resolution. I won't have a charger for another week. The inventory system was inaccurate. But all these things don't really upset me. What upsets me is that Best Buy never called or e-mailed to let me know the order was cancelled. I drove an hour and a half and spent a half hour in the store. For nothing. And it could have been avoided with a 30 second phone call or an automated email.

It's true that sometimes the website will say we have something in stock and we won't actually have it. Even though that's the case when we "no-pick" an item, saying that we don't have it, it should automatically send you an e-mail, or whatever e-mail address you have setup with your account, and tell you that we didn't have the item at our location.

Totally understand the inventory being inaccurate. I worked retail for many years.

But I didn't receive an e-mail notification that my order was cancelled.

Maybe a bug in the system? Don't know, but it should definitely be taken care of moving forward.

Best Buy would apply the same customer service to its online customers as it does to it's face to face customers; focused on personalized service, care, and consideration. And it would be gravy to get $16 for the four gallons of gas I wasted. ;)
