How Best Buy Ruined My Christmas

I purchased the same Panasonic 50" TV online Thursday morning. It was available for store pickup at the Danbury store and when I went to pick it up that night they said sorry we sold all of them. I was like, "you sold the TV I bought online for pickup?" They were like, sorry for the misunderstanding. All we can do is cancel your order. Best Buy has zero credibility. DO NOT FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP. Shop at Walmart (customer service was awesome tonight) shop at Amazon if your going to purchase something online, but if you shop on Best Buy understand that they do not stand by their service and there is no guarantee that what you purchased online will be there when you go to pick it up....scary They literally took the TV I bought online for store pickup....and sold it to someone else....and to follow up, I called corporate, and they told me there is nothing they are willing to do to compensate me. All they will do is cancel my order. Well, thanks Best Buy....I am now without the XMas gift I had purchased for my daughter and their way of making it up to me was simply cancelling my order and re-reimbursing me at a later date....so my $200 isnt even available to me to buy my daughter another gift at this time. How about that service from Best Buy.....Awesome Naturally, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as contact all of the local news stations in the greater connecticut/NY region to inform them of this. The $200 50'' Panasonic tv was a black Friday doorbuster which means first come first served like all black Friday doorbusters in America for the past decade. Why should you be compensated because you wouldn't wait in line like everyone else did.

Went to black friday event at Best Buy today. Advertised a 50" panasonic TV for $199. Of course the line stretched almost all the way around the store. We got there about 2:30 with about 100 people in line. At about 4:30 employee came down the line asking what everyone was there to buy. I said the 50" panasonic TV. He looked frustrated and said they were already out. The store was supposed to open officially at 5:00 and they were already out at 4:30. I asked for a rain check and of course there were no rain checks. I asked how many they had in stock to start with. He said 25 and hurried off. This was just false advertising at its finest. No more Best Buy for me.

eat *** u *** *** stay the *** out of it i was 22 in line and best buy only had 20 50 in tvs in stock i stood in line for 3 hours for nothing best by sucks *** i was 107 in line at wallmart and still got the tv i wanted i stood in line for 15 mins ?????? ......dumb ***

LOL if you "read" the fine print, it clearly states "LIMITED STOCK" LOL ***! You blame best buy for you being cheap! THAT'S why ALL COMPANIES CALL THESE ITEMS "DOOR BUSTERS".

I purchased a Dyson one day ago and saw the price drop, on bestbuy.com, by $40. Figuring they had a price match policy, I called and asked if they'd credit the difference. However, I was promptly told that they would not be matching any pricing, even their own, due to Black Friday and would not resume such activity until December 2nd. Asking to speak to a manager resulted in a (2nd) non-manager telling me the same thing. I tried again but they refused to let me speak to anyone else saying the hold time was over an hour and the result would be the same. Needless to say, the vacuum is being returned and I will no longer be a BestBuy customer.

After fighting with Sears for 5 long years and a junk LG front end loader having to be fixed several times a year, my husband and I decided to go to best buy. We purchased the dryer on Nov 20th with the salesman's word our dryer will not be delayed due to Black Friday madness but here we are Nov 26 and us calling and bugging them many times they still have no clue when our dryer will magically appear. And the best thing about it is I am having a hard time finding a customer complaint outlet for their company. I am very disappointed

I recently went to a Best Buy mobile express store and make contact with the representative upon him verifying I was eligible for an upgrade there was no one in the store he then told me I had to make an appointment which was an hour and 10 minutes later. When I told him that I couldn't stay an hour he told me that he couldn't help me they obviously don't need business that bad if they're treating customers like that I will never return to Best Buy to buy anything from them again this poor customer service gets you nowhere

Best Buy - Tv Protection Plan Review from Macon, Georgia

te Best Buy. Three weeks ago my TV broke so I called to use my protection plan. Well they in informed me that when I cancel my protection on my cell phone that they accidentally canceled my plan on my tv. Well it took a week and a half to have my plan on my TV reinstated by their back office in Missouri. Then they said I would get a email that never came letting me know it was reinstated. Thank god I called them on a daily basis and finally it was reinstated. Well they only make repair days for the following Wednesday's. So he finally came out and ordered some parts. The parts were delivered to my house and I opened the box. They were the wrong parts so I called them on Monday and informed them that the wrong parts came and their repair man was not going to be able to fix it before thanksgiving, so they had the parts over night ed so the repair man would be able to have me up and running for thanksgiving. Well I just got a phone call one of the parts did not ship out so they needed to make a appointment for 12 03 2014. They hang up ever time I call and have never had any compassion for their mistakes so the have officially lost a long time customer.

Best Buy - Sales Manager Review from Lake Jackson, Texas

The Lake Jackson, TX Best Buy store is completly filled with *** They change the rules to verify accounts at their discretion and there is no way to verify what their actual policy is. Store manager Mike is no help so don't even waste your time with this *** as far as customer service. The sales reps that work in the mobile dept. would rather lets long lines form, while they talk about their personal issues. They never greet the customers and tell them sorry for the wait or nothing. Very unprofessional. I will never shop at this location again. I encourage others in the LJ area to do the same and go elsewhere...there is other options.

Bought all new appliances for a remodeled kitchen. Delivery date came and they were delivered as scheduled, however, the installation was not performed because the existing water valves needed to be 5/8" as well as the gas valve (surprise). In addition, the cabinet where the new microwave was to be installed needed *** uhm... Ok I said. Furthermore, we were told the granite needed to be installed, news to me as I was told whatever I did do not install the granite until afterwards. The installer indicated he would come back as soon as the requirements listed was complete. I paid a hefty sum to ensure the plumber worked over the weekend as well as the granite co. We completed all the requirements by Monday, that was futile as I got tired of calling the installers. I called Best Buy and after 45 minutes on the phone the best they could do was schedule it a week later. Poor service and this will be the last time I ever buy anything at Best Buy.

Shipping Issue | Best Buy review from Saraland, Alabama

I ordered a Blu-ray player online with a specific delivery date of two days. This way, I would be home. I received my delivery notice today for it to be delivered tomorrow! I'll be at work. It is being shipped UPS, so I thought "no problem", I'll have delivery changed to will call and pick it up at the UPS hub (which I do for every delivery, photo ID required). Can't do it. My only choices allowed by BestBuy are to leave it with a neighbor (not at home either) or they'll wind up dropping it in my yard where either my 140# Rott will eat it or someone will pick it and take it home. This was not mentioned in the shipping information from BestBuy. If I had known this, I would have purchased the item somewhere locally where I could carry it out. Now begins the hassle of probably seeing my package returned after being paid for due to me being unable to be home to receive it!

Best Buy - Cell Phone Upgrade Review from Meridian, Idaho

Best Buy customer service sucks. Went to store Nampa Idaho to uupgrade phone, wait for service, when someone finally offered to help. He was told we had to get on waiting list asked how long it wowould be and was told hard to tell. No one else was in the area and another customer had 3 agents helping them . When we finally got someeone to help us they checked and only had 1 phone and we wanted 2, their solution was for one of us to get that one and the other one would have to wait a week when next order came in. We told them no thanks and thank him for wasting our time. We left, went to Wal-Mart got what we wanted faster and cheaper. Not going to Nampa Best Buy again. I sent email to Best Buy and have not received a reply as of today.
