STOLE or SOLD OUR COMPUTER | Best Buy review

We took our pc to Best Buy to have a repair and they never called or (e)mailed and when we would call theyd say one thing or another never that they had sold or destroyed it that is until I sent a complaint to the better business bureau. Now they are only offering $300 for my pretty new $800 computer. They are now saying we abandoned it which is not true.We called numerous times and even went to store only to be given the runaround. Even corporate lied to us and the BBB. They gave us 6 days to accept $300 and we arent even in town. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

I wonder if this is a case where you were dissatisfied with the repair and refused to pick it up and thus they are saying it was abandoned. I also doubt the BBB is in on this as you are implying. There's more to this story on your end than what you are admitting to.

lied about competitors instock status on I-pads to keep a sale or to price match. this was store #1798 . bought 2 I-pads from this store next day competitor had them on sale for a combined savings of $110.00. after checking with competitor they only had the one model in stock,but had several. went to best buy for price match, cx service rep. called them from backroom ( not in front of us) came back out said they didn't have any,we left . Drove to competitor and bought the item ( same model #) called store 1798 told mgr. after he over heard my wife say that someone was lying, he got belligerent and would not give me his name then hung up

Best Buy - Employee Review from Moline, Illinois

Normally you would get assaulted by every employee in the building... the one time i really want help.. l can't get it. I stood by the cell phone counter for over 20minutes.... some people would just walk near me and poof! They get helped.. is it to much to ask for some one to help a person that was there first? Todays date 12/7/14 it is currently 12:57.

Not like it's Sunday, or anything...not like they're just standing around not helping other customers...not like it's 2 weeks before Christmas, right? Have you even TRIED asking if there's a line to get help...or, if they are taking names? SMH

You know, if you have gone into the same store before, and acted rudely as multiple employees did their job to contact you they probably remember you; they probably think, hey - theres that *** that I tried helping before, he didn't want help then so he probably wants to be left alone this time. Try being nice, and stop acting like an entitled ***.

I went online to purchase a 55" Samsung curved TV. I called customer service about financing. I started the call at 3 p.m. AZ time. I was passed onto other departments four times until I was transferred after 1 hour, 3 minutes and 38 seconds to the geek squad section at least that's what I was told. A rep called "Roger" was rude, indignant and condescending. He sounded garbled and nearly audible and told him I was having difficulty hearing him. I was at the page where I was submitting my delivery area and I got a reply on that page that delivery is not available right now and to pick another delivery. I asked him how do I pick another delivery day? He started to get angry and telling me that the item will not be available at all. His tone was very angry. I asked to talk to someone else and he told me call back. What, call back? It took me over an hour just to get him. He refused to have someone else talk to me. I asked for his ID number and I was told that they are able to give that information out. I asked him what state was he working from. Well my suspicions for his appropriate behavior is justified. What state? Missouri! Now I understand why he's so rude. This "Roger" should not be working in customer service. I've shopped at BestBuy before, but now because of this rep I'm shopping at other stores. If BestBuy wants to stay in business, it's employees like him who have others like me shop at Target, Walmart, Fry's electronics, Crutchfield, tigerdirect etc. Circuit city had great buys but their customer service sucked and I walked away. Look where they're at now. EXTINCT!

My wife ordered a pair of Klipsch R-28f speakers on November 27,2014. On November 30, per Best Buy Order Number BBY01-690617017068 Details, each speaker was assigned a tracking number. On December 6, I called Best Buy and asked why only one speaker was delivered. Despite providing all the information that were in the body of Best Buy's message to my wife, and the confirmation from UPS that they do not have the item, Best Buy Customer Service Representative Jacquelyn was not able to track the item. Why did Best Buy mark the item "shipped" and yet cannot provide information of its whereabouts. The operator did not take further action after the call and advised me to wait.

Not a problem...I've done it for years...with 6 ohm JBLs. Not once was the model# or SKU# of the Yamaha speakers noted.

I'll put my money that they were 6" in-wall speakers...40w.

Josh at best buy in Jersey City is condescending and doesn't understand how to talk to customers. I had asked him a simple question about if I could exchange the solo beats I had bought on Black Friday for another color. He responded with a long explanation without answering my question directly. Then, made me feel *** by saying you aren't understanding what I am telling you because youre interrupting me. Honestly I was looking for a yes or no answer not a long conversation about why. Never make the customer walk out of the store greling bad about asking simple questions. Not everything about retail is common knowledge. Avoid Josh in the yellow rain jacket he's condescending and cannot answer questions directly. I will never go to that best buy again.

Best Buy - Washer And Dryer Review from Bedford, Texas

I had a new washer & dryer delivered this past Sunday but the washer did not work, I contacted customer service & was told they could have a replacement washer to me on Wednesday. The delivery drivers showed Wednesday as promised, set outside for approx. 10 min & drove off!! After talking to numerous reps at 1-888-best buy I was told the drivers tried to call me but I never answered, which oddly is the only call I've ever missed on my phone, & also stated they did not have the apartment # although they did just a few days before for the 1st delivery...odd. I then had to wait for the washer to get back to the warehouse before I could reschedule delivery...again. I called today, the 4th & was told now they can't redeliver until the 11th!! I was also told I could not teceive any compensation for this delay because I had already received compensation for the 1st inconvience they caused. I would not accept this solution & proceeded to contact corporate & was told they could actually deliver on the 8th & give me a measley $50 for the inconvience. Still not solved 100% to my satisfaction but I'm so beat down from dealing with this company that I gave up. I feel as though the only power I have is to get out to as many people as possible about their horrible customer service so I got on their facebook page to give the corporate # to other people complaining about customer service, which I did & was promptly blocked from writing on their page anymore. This is the worst customer service I have ever come across in my entire life. What happened to immediatley correcting YOUR MISTAKE to keep a customer? I will never make a purchase your company again, nor will anyone in my family, my mom has had an account with you since 2002 but you will never see a penny from her again. I will make sure anyone who will listen knows about how I've been "handled" by your company & to not waste their time or money with your company.

Upon entering Best Buy on Camelback Road in Phx I encountered a sales rep. named Aubrianna and asked for help locating a particular item for an Ipad Mini. She looked up the number on the computer and led me to the area where the item was supposed to be. It was not there so she began further research to locate the item, searched the storerooms, consulted other sales reps. and looked in several other parts of the store. Finally after searching for about 20 minutes she called another Best Buy and located the item. Her efforts and the persistent and courteous nature she showed payed off and are greatly appreciated!
