I purchased a phone with an insurance plan. When an issue happened with my phone, they informed me that I didn't have insurance on my device. After investigating, the told me they cancelled the insurance and notified me to renew it. I never received a notification and they cannot track or send me information regarding the sent/delivered notifications. My device became ineligible for reinstatement of insurance because notifications were sent (with no record available to share) and no response from the responsible recipient was received. I am highly upset with Best Buys customer care team whose response was "You are *** out of luck. Have a wonderful day!"I boycott businesses that have poor customer service, what a shame... I will no longer support Best Buy with my money or my business.

Good afternoon, My name is Veronica I would like to let you know How the service has been lately. When I enter the store (PEARLAND, TX) I am greeted by the staff. I would give them a 10. But when you need to call to speak to someone you can forget about it. I work where customer service is the key. I even Work for Best Buy call center years ago and I never treated a customer rudely. 1. You wait til it's your turn cause of the volume of calls I'm OK with that. But whoever it is pick it up and put you on hold without saying a word. No name, no hello, or can you hold on please. 2. You continue to be on hold. Then it finally rings and again not a word and place you back on hold. It's a repeat 4 times waiting an hour just to ask 1 simple question "What kind of battery this camera take?" If you still carry this model. I was helping my Aunt out. So it would save her a trip to the store. It was to the point i hung up. This happen to me several occasion this is not the first time. This person manners in customer service is terrible. I don't Know if you all still continue to listen on calls. But just like a secret shopper maybe need to try secret caller. Thank you.

When it comes to issues like this, a manager needs to be involved. I was once in charge of my store's phones, and I can tell you that's NOT what's expected from our associates. The next time you call, dial extension 2180 or 2100 and ask to speak to the operations manager.

The terms for a Best Buy Visa and a My Rewards card are different. For example, you CAN'T take advantage of 6-12-18-24 month interest free financing with a Best Buy Visa card.

Black Friday Nightmare | Best Buy review from Saint Peters, Missouri

I tried to buy an iPad Air 2 on Black Friday. After trying for over 2 hours to get my order to go through I gave it one more try. I found that not only did I not have an order listed, but conveniently, even though the order never got through, they took all my gift card money....strange. I got concerned so I checked my bank card statement to find that they had charged my credit card not once but twice for over a thousand dollars for an order that didn't exist in their records. After hours and hours and HOURS of phone conversation with my bank, Best Buy and being disconnected (after waiting for over 20 minutes..no less than 5 times) I was told that I'd just have to trust them, they'd make sure it didn't go through on my card. I've never dealt with such an inept group of customer service representatives and you guessed it, they never ordered the iPad for me.

Lack of service and honesty- Delaware Best Buy, Churchmans rd.

Have heard that Best Buy was improving service- so I thought I would give them a chance. Have two Verizon phones 5 just out of contract and wanted to see what my options were. 4 customer service reps in mobile dept all very busy. Waited 45 minutes to se a rep . set down and wait while she went to the third customer behind me in line and started to answer her questions- very unprofessional. Into the conversation she did not offer me any competitive options and told me I had to buy only what they had in stock-could not order anything special and would not take trade ins. This was not what I had been told by other Verizons stores. I think her and said that this was not the location for me. Makes me suspect for any purchase one would buy from Best Buy.

Pre-order issue | Best Buy review

I pre-ordered something which is now very hard to find. Because of the inventory team putting said item on the shelf , now the store is giving my pre-order to another customer just to keep the other customer quiet. Just because I am an employee it does not mean I should have to give up my pre-order just to keep a customer that did not pre-order it happy and quiet. The store managers have always treated us like employees like second class citizens. If people want something so much they should learn to pre-order items. Also the inventory manager should teach employees how to look up pre-orders and street dates. I am going to a lodge a formal complaint about this.

Unfortunately, they aren't going to learn about it from here! If there's no manager available to help you, and to get a problem like this resolved in the store, call 1-888-237-8289.

While you're waiting in line, ask for "customer care" or the complaint department over the phone. Where ever that store manager is, he's going to get a message on his cell phone!

I think you need an overhaul, on customer service, hold times, transfers, and faulty connections. I am tired of employees that lie, don't check in, can't look up an order. This is even with receipt info, date of purchase, and rewards numbers, I think your falling short, hiring labor over seas, and lacking proper training. I am annoyed that you high techs that damage my home, that can't reconnect water lines after being told they would. I again have rcorded calls. Your in the WRONG Call recordings will be youtubed Sadly I have hours of them, on phones, iPads and more. Figure out were consumers are not numbers.

Must be something about Denver! All YOU'RE doing is shouting into the wind, on this site.

If you can't get any satisfaction at the store level (Your post includes so little actual information, there's really no way to tell!) then call 1-888-237-8289 and ask for customer care.

If it's a service issue, then call Geek Squad's number. Ranting on here get's you nothing!

"I live in Calgary, 2 separate ads for an item was in their flyer, regular $400 for $50 off. Turns out in both ads no locations stock the item & when I phone locations & customer service they can't see their warehouse inventory or order the item, or bring it in from another store. I asked for contact info of head office and the only way to contact them in snail mail! No email address. Maybe they should hire Geek Squad to show them how to use email. If you shop her or Future Shop you should expect no customer service. Save yourself grief & hassles & do NOT SHOP AT BESTBUY or FUTURE SHOP!

No email address to contact or phone #to HO, just a customer service line with people who have no idea of what they are talking about & don't know how to contact HO other than snail mail.

Maybe hire an Internet company to set up a email address for head office?
