Unable to return activity tracker | Best Buy review from Dacula, Georgia

Bought activity tracker-can't get to work -I wanted to return and called and said can't return if over 2 weeks which is ridiculous. It has been less than 1 month. I will never buy from best buy again. They stink. They put me tru to teck support and was on hold for a while and they hung up on me. This is why I buy from Costco they stand behind their merchandise and treat their customers with respect. There is nothing worse than poor customer service. Your reputation will get around and I will never buy from you again. Change your policies.

I bought a dell laptot needs to be repaired geek squad say they can not fix it.p one year ago at best buy in fond du lac wisconsin.Isent it to the geek squad they told me they are unable to fix it.they claim dell cannot produce a replacement part which is a lie,I was lied to at the store about basically everything about it.needlesss to say iwill never buy anything from the place again.Attitude of people in the store is that of i could care less if you ever come back.I am sorry i ever bought anything from best buy.

Purchased a gift...over $1000...asked for delivery they put the wrong address in the delivery box...a completely different city...and wouldn't except responsibility for their mistake. People took off of work to be available for delivery, it inconvenienced several people but still no help. Only response is it would be another day until I could even schedule another delivery...I called the VP of customer service Karalyn Sartor and her faithful guard dog (male exec assist) argued that it didn't matter nothing could be done and I couldn't even get my money back for another 48 hours so I could go somewhere else and make my purchase. I called and asked so many times for a solution and nothing...it's honestly p*%# poor service for someone who just spent over a grand of hard earned money with them and it's their mistake but they refuse to take ownership and responsibility and at least do something. I work with companies larger than Best Buy and they are my customers...I would never treat them this way...customers are your revenue Hubert Joly, Sharon McCollam, Matt Furman, Keith Nelsen....I would take a good look at how you're treating them.

It all started out with a pre-order. I ordered it on Jan. 14th and it was released Feb 13th. So I enter my card information and the $200 gets taken out. I think "Great! Now it's only a matter of time before it gets here." So one day before the release of my product (I assume they were getting ready to hand it off to UPS) I get a message and e-mail saying something went wrong with my card. (Note: in the order status it said "Payment Validated: the money has been taken out of your bank account). So I call customer supposed to and wait like 30 minutes, which isn't too bad, however the first person I got I couldn't understand so they handed me over to another guy (had to wait another 30 minutes) so I was already kind of mad. Anyways we got it figured out and they said they would ship it out after it had been taken out. So what was wrong with my payment? They held $200.00 for only 2 days then gave it back, which I don't remember. Anyways this all happened on Thursday, the 12th. So all day Friday I was waiting to see if it got shipped, it didn't. So I waited all weekend and on Monday it ships. About 6 hours my tracking number worked (Which isn't bad but goes with the story). I had the free shipping so I thought it'd take a week, right? Well on Friday I sent them a harsh e-mail and did a survey and have them the worst scores. I guess they saw this, and changed my shipping to expensive 1 day shipping. So it arrived then. Yes, it pissed me off. But they made it right, and that's what matters. I'd say e-mail them, don't call them.

Customer Service/Return Policy | Best Buy review

Had the same thing happen to me. I had my receipt as well and was not allowed to do an exchange either. Had everything needed for return according to receipt (Picture ID). I also had my credit card. Not sure how the other stores operate but the Phoenix Norterra Best Buy was the worst! Can't believe that people can treat others the way I was at this store. I will Never shop at another Best Buy Store again. I would rather pay an extra few bucks knowing that if there is a problem, I have some recourse. Stay Away is Right!

Lousy service/no phone listing | Best Buy review

The local Best Buy in Albuquerque, NM on Hotel Circle, NE doesn't even list a phone number, so you can't phone first to ask about anything. If you want their phone number, you have to call to another city to get it. They don't answer the phone anyway... The one time they did, they put me on hold and never came back. It has been this way for many years. The service in the store is virtually nonexistent, and the one time I bought something there, it was so unsatisfactory that I had to travel there a second time to return it. The kid who dealt with me kept sniffing and wiping his nose on the back of his hands, I felt like gagging. I guess they can afford to lose customers. My impression is that they prefer young, small spenders who just drop in, rather than adults like me who have real money to spend. The store is loud, there's nowhere to sit, and they were short on staff and told me so. When I called the 800 number just now, the employee seemed noncommittal although courteous. It's their decision, if they don't want my money I will continue to spend it elsewhere. Kids may spend on music and other small items, but adults our age are the big ticket spenders... I guess they don't welcome our disposable income. Don't shop here if you expect courteous, caring service or availability on the phone or in the store. Their Geek Squad is just some kid who doesn't know much, with dirty, scuffed-up black shoes. I usually phone around to compare prices; WHY don't they even list their number in the phone book?!!?

Misleading information | Best Buy review from Manchester, Connecticut

I bought a GPS and I asked few times how long is the return period the cashier said 30days. Brought it back before thirty days and they said it is 15 days . One employee said 30 days and the other employee said he does not honor their own employee's statement. I was misguided by their contradictory return policy . I need help . They said it is written on the receipt . That is why I asked the cashier several times to make sure it is 30 days . Can I please get some help. I have a best buy credit card and I should not have been treated like that .

i purchased 15x70 calvary from best buy .objective tubes miss aligned. showed best buy manager returned them . ordered the best buy limit of 3 more 15x70 calvary. problems with all 3 including broken off objective tube .thats 4 pair returned. went to your website and purchased 15x70 skymaster pro for 179.99,yes 179.99 .site said in stock. shopatron says your mistake. you say there mistake. i call both sides multiple times and explain your problem. now its fixed. says pre orderfor 199.00 thats 20.00 more than i already ordered for and was cancelled. i dont like being treated this way its not right.

Purchased a point-and-shoot camera online to pick up at the Milford, MA store. First bad sign was the 10 minute wait to pick it up even though I was the only customer there. Then when I had an issue with the quality of the video, Alan the manager refused to refund my money. Alan the manager made a choice to send me away upset and lose any future business from me. Over a camera that they probably would have sent back to Sony or could have sold as a return and still made a good profit on. Rather than stay upset about this, I've decided not to buy anything at Best Buy again, and post my experience wherever I can. The 50 bucks they made off of me will be the last, and it may cost them alot more business.

So the manager just said no. No reason or explanation?

It's really kinda hard to form any opinion on your complaint with no details other than you ordered camera online to pickup in-store, it took a long tome for pickup, quality of video bad, manager refuses refund.

See the problem? Its basically a summery which doesn't really help in readers form any opinion.

Best Buy - Installation Review from Richmond, Virginia

If you are ever getting new appliances, don't use best buy! Their website is impossible to use and delivery does not include installation. Installation is also done by a third party that is different from the one that delivers. Have fun getting it all scheduled. And it cost $140 bucks for them to install a dishwasher. This was after I specifically chatted with a "customer service rep" on the website when I ordered AND VERIFIED IT WAS INCLUDED. Save yourself the hassle. I only got installation set for the same day as delivery because I threw a fit.
