Arrogant employee would not honor price match

12/5/2017 10:20 am Best Buy 5019 S Cleveland Ave Fort Myers, Fl 33907. Spoke with JIM a salesman in the TV section. To make a long story short. JIM insisted that the price match was for an item sold and shipped by Amazon.com. I showed JIM the Amazon printout that a Samsung 40 TV was$390.44 on Amazon. Jim argued and disagreed. I asked to see a manager and he questioned why, that he (JIM) had already explained the policy. A Manager showed up a blond with tatoos on her arm and had little to say. I explained again that I had already verified the Amazon price and that it was sold and shipped by them. I just left and ordered the TV from Amazon, online, shipped and sold by Amazon as per Best Buy's policy. I have the receipt from Amazon and the cost was $390.44. Best buy's price at the store was $449.00. Jim, if that is his name was condescending and wrong. Even if he was correct I would not buy from this Best Buy store because of the employees attitude and the lack of interest from the Manager. Try and find an email to file a complaint. -----------no more best buy they have lost a long time customer.

Best Buy has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I purchased a $2000 refrigerator and verified the order with my credit card company but since I did not respond to Best Buy's email within 24 hours they cancelled the order. I contacted them and after speaking with several of their employees they would not honor the price I was originally supposed to pay. When I said I would just purchase the refrigerator from another company they said "that is your decision." Some customer service!! I will never purchase another item from Best Buy and I will make sure that none of my friends or family do either. What a nightmare!

Instax Mini Film 9

Good day, I have ordered a big box of film last week for my camera, there are 4 packs of 10 in the box! When i used my first pack there were only 6 film in the pack instead of 10 film! I have ordered this film because I purchased the Instax mini 9 from you as well and I am verry happy with my camera but when I realized there was not the same amount film in the box as described, therefore I would like customer service to assist me with this situation! No return after only 15 days for defective items!

I just found out that I cannot return a defective item because at Best Buy you have only 15 days to do so! I am shocked to hear this, and stuck with $45 worth of junk. I will allow that they put that policy in very fine print somewhere on my 2-foot long receipt (for just 2 items), and congratulate them for making it so very hiding it so well and tricking me. There is nothing I would get at Best Buy that I cannot get elsewhere. I will NEVER shop there again, and I will go great lengths to spread the word about this terrible place.

dont waste money on queek squad warranty- while in theory its good for a major apppliance but my experience is if you need to use the appliance (like a washing machine) and cant afford to wait three months for them to fix it its not worth it. Theyve been out several times and cant fix it but in order to get a new maching you they need to be able to try three times in a row with almost 30 days between each time- crazy cant cant manager to call me back even though they promise he has to call in 48 hours

A key part of my large appliance order was not delivered and so not installed. Nearly 2 months have passed, and the company has not made contact with me to deliver the items. Attempts to contact Best Buy could be made into a TV comedy skit-- no online reporting, calls to service lines lead to extended robot voice interaction, culminating in being directed to a voicemail box that is full in one case, and one that does not connect in another. One attempt that actually connected with a human being after numerous human-robot exchanges was disconnected 3 times. Clearly they have no intention of delivering the product or refunding my payment. I am pursuing this with the credit card company.

Unsatisfactory Purchase of Samsung Smart Phone

I purchased a new, unlocked, AT&T compatible Samsung Galaxy 6 from Best Buy not realizing it wasn't carrier certified, and it arrived without the standard Samsung or AT&T software. It looked like the software was written by one of the assembly line workers and has no adjustments for basic user interface, accessibility, fonts and so on. After a lot of effort, Samsung upgraded/updated all its software, but AT&T won't. Don't buy one of their unlocked phones expecting to get the real deal, because it isn't. Buy a carrier certified phone and then have them unlock it. My main complaint is that there was no notice or information about this on the Best Buy website when I purchased the phone. Had I known, I wouldn't have bought it. Also, the extended plan, Geek Squad contact was barely literate and the attitude was, "well you stupid, you bought it."

I want to start of saying thatlast year i bought a espon projector and a yamaha surround sound and a system i spent over 5500.00 dollars. Go in the store yesterday to buy a 4k tv i have 3000.00 dollars in my pocket.im looking at the xbox stuff when i notice a employee walking circle around for no reason he didnt evan say hello and i could tell he was sterio typing so im pissed at this point go to leave and i see him run to the front where he had guards blocking the front door and i jeard him say he didnt do anything and they moved i went to walmart right after and spent 2500.00 i wish i would of never spent that money last year on a store that has emplouees passing jugment on ppl i will never spend another dollar at best buy ppl need not to think that ppl are doing something wrong one employee made me look at best buy never the same. So good job employee i would fire you. Iys was in the downingtown pa store.

Last minute delivery reschedule

Ordered a stove on 12/24, and the next available delivery was not until 1/14. We arranged our schedules to ensure our availability. Received confirmation emails of the delivery time and day via email, with the last one on 1/11. On 1/12, I received a message saying that the delivery had been rescheduled for 1/17 because the warehouse was closed. No explanation why the delivery was scheduled on 1/14 or way to remedy other than, “we apologize for the inconvenience”. I will do my best to avoid future business with this company.

Terrible delivery and "installation"

The 1st dryer had a dent.....okay, stuff happens. They brought the replacement and did not make sure that it worked. They left hoses and a box in the dryer. They did not level it. AND most importantly, it was wired wrong. Did not find out until i touched the vent and got a nice surprise!!! Electrician came and wired the cord correctly. I hope the dryer is not damaged because I know they will never replace, and try to blame me somehow. This experience has been awful, mostly just the installation side of it. They were very unprofessional and did not make sure that I was a happy customer, even though the 1st dryer had a dent and I was unhappy about that.

Selling refurbished computers for new one and no refund or upgrade on complaint

i bought a new dell computer 5 months ago has been in repair shop 5 times and now just got it back and this best buy co indpls in had the gall to charge me 121.00 for a bad keyboard which they said had liquid on it which destroyed the key board .i do not eat or drink at my computer i mentioned this to a store employee he said they sell damaged computers and other items returned by other customers,my receipt said i bought a new dell computer.i have written letters to the president ceo of best buy hubert joly at corporate offices 7601 penn ave richfield mn 55423 he will not respond maybe if enough of you write him he might understand and the shareholders of the stock of best buy co may want to take a look at all the 2980 complaints on best buy,maybe we need a lawyer to do a class action suit against this company so thy understand we have rights,no president of any company is above the law ...any lawyers out they who maybe in representing all these upset customers we cannot all be wrong

You can sue them in small claims court if you desire. I, too have heard of Best Buy selling used computers as new, but whether this is true or not, who knows? Perhaps if you do some research on the internet you can obtain more info as to the validity of this rumor.

Customer U.N.-care Dis-service

Called 866-586-**** to get help on an item not delivered on 6 Jan 2018; a woman answered. Asked her name, but refused to give her name. She hang up phone. Her attitude was not for service. Best Buy Corp should review their employee attitudes toward customers. Six phone calls have been cut off after 20 some minutes of waiting. They are in a different world. Gig? What gig? No email, strange kind of chat, dead end phone service. Same on BEst Buy. BUT, I am fully satisfied with people at Tyson’s Corner Best Buy. They are good and care.
