Lack of Customer Service

Good Morning I am writing to you with great disappointment regarding the following order: Order Date: 11/18/2017 ORDER # 111732****519 I am a United States Army Officer currently attending the United States Naval War College at the Newport Navy base. I can understand the order being delayed by a couple of days but I am in dyer need of the computer as I am a student and require it to do my work. I received an email this morning witch stated the following: Please be assured we'll continue to work on this order, and once the item(s) become available we will let you know. If we are not able to complete your order by December 25, 2017, we will notify you and cancel the item(s). I do not want my order cancelled I have a receipt that says that I should have it by 25 November 2017 and it is now 27 November 2017 and I have yet to receive an order and Now I may not get it by Christmas. You are telling me that there will be a month long span of me waiting before it is determined if I get the computer that I purchased or not. Do not cancel my order I will not accept a cancellation and if that is what you will do I will assure you that I will not be shopping at any Best Buy again as for relaying the message of disastrous service to those around me. I should not be penalized for your inability to manage your stock. I think that Best Buy should figure out a solution to get me an Apple computer that I paid for on 18 November 2017 of equal value or better. The lose stems greater than the simple mind can comprehend, first I need the computer for its intended purpose and that is to do military course work which I am left without effectively doing at the moment and two simply leaving the cost of the Apple Computer in a savings account accrues interest something that it is not doing sitting with Best Buy. Therefore my loss is enormousness and for you simply say that you will "cancel the order if you cannot meet the requirements is 100% unacceptable. So exactly how does this pertain to a computer?

This complaint is too long.

Do you really think that Best Buy will even see your complaint and respond to it? Send a letter to their Corporate Headquarters instead.

I recently bought a computer from their website claiming it has an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080 ti, but instead they sent me the computer with an MSI GEFORCE GTX 1080ti... basically a ferrari with a toyota’s motor!! I filled a complain with the BB TODAY.. the dumb *** say they wont help me because of the time frame on the returns or exchange.. thetime does not apply to lying customer defrauding them and then tell me in my face i screw you when you bought it and I screw you again right now. I can’t help you ...damn ***

Went to buy an advertised TV. Got inside on Thanksgiving night right at 5 when the store opened, got a ticket from the sales associate that verified that they had one, got in line to pay for it and when I got to the register an asst manager came up and said I needed a ticket to buy that particular TV. I showed him my ticket and he said well you still cannot buy it bit can buy any other TV. I expressed my opinion, he called another manager who had the same script. Again I was told I couldn't buy the TV I was holding a ticket for but was welcome to buy any more expensive TV. Typical Bait and Switch!

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION FOR HOLIDAY GIFTS!! CUZ RETURNING ANY UNWANTED ITEM IS GOING TO BE A NIGHTMARE. THE ASSOCIATES, AS WELL AS THE MANAGERS ARE RUDE AND YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES RETURNING YOUR ITEMS. SHOP AT THE HARTSDALE STORE, IF YOU HAVE TO OTHEREWISE AVOID SHOPPING AT BEST BUY!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!! Just came back from the Best Buy located in Yonkers NY. Went there to return items i purchased from the Hartsdale NY store last night. I had purchased a total of 6 items for photagrrphy lighting because they didnt have the bundle i wanted in the store and was only avail. online. Purchased the items no problems. It turned out the items didnt accomplish what i needed. Was passing by the Yonkers NY store, figured since im here I just return the items here. Upon walking to the customer service desk I was recvd by a girl who already had an attitude and wasnt displaying a friendly face. She informed me with an accusitory tone that someone needed to inspect the items. I said no problem. Was busy with my phone .... when she had called for the store manager and was whispering something. Then the manager starts talking to me in an accusitory fashion as to why Im returning the items here since I bought them from the Hartsdale. When i got annoyed and asked what the problem was... the store manager was rude, confrontaional and instead of nurtralizing the situation - kept escalating the exchange. Am in Retail - and have never ever seen such poor customer service and lack of training on the part of manager and associate. Now I remebered why I stopped shopping at BEST BUY!!!

Ordered online a high end computer for in store pickup. On day that it was promised to be available, there was nothing ready. Store was no help so had to call customer support, who said the computer had been delivered to the store a day earlier. Went back to store and they said it never arrived. And said I couldn’t just pick out a computer off the shelf and apply it to my order. This was all on Dec. 22 and 23. The computer was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I had to resolve this. So I had to call customer support and get them to cancel the order (the *** online system would not allow me to do it myself). Then had to go the store and buy the one they had on the shelf. And paid $200 more than the online price! Avoid the hassle. Use Amazon.

On Dec. 19, 2017, my son and I went to the Best Buy Store in Aiea. We approached Ricci Caracol who is the Assistant Store Manager for help. He had a wealth of product knowledge on Amazon Echo Dot and its associated accessories and he provided us with information in a professional mannerism. He was patient in answering all our questions. The customer service he provided was above excellent and one that you rarely find in any other Best Buy or retail stores. Mr. Ricci Caracol made our experience enjoyable shopping in your Aiea Store and needless to say we will be back for future shopping. He should be rewarded and recognized for his exceptional customer service.

I Bought a Dell All- In- One Computer Inspiron 20 That I Bought In Febuary 2017 From BestBuy on Archer rd in Gainesville FL There is a defalt with the stand it is on a fold out stand witch every few months it works its way closed and the computer falls forward.The secound time it fell on my mouse and cracked the screen I had a warranty and took it back to Best Buy was told i could only be seen by appointment so they looked up my warranty gave me a appointment . i came back 2 days later and was told my warranty was no good because it was ACCADENTLY and that was not covered.

I said how is it accadently when it has a bad stand . i didnt drop it i was no where near it when it fell there is something wrong that the stand keeps working its way closed. The tech told me it was $350.00 for a new screen and the screen was just as much as what i paid for computer that Dell would send it back that they would look at the broke screen say it was ACCADENTLY and was not covered for me to call witch i did and got the same runaround.

thank you for reading hope you dont get screwed to. AND THE STAFF ON ARCHER ROAD ARE NICE UNTIL YOU DISAGREE WITH THAN THEY GET NASTY AND CONDASINDING unfournatally its the only one close or id go someware else

I bought a TV online thru Best Buy and they promised delivery on 12/28/2017. Now they tell me it won’t be until possibly 1/12/2018. This is false advertising. They will not cancel the order. I will not wait 2 additional weeks for something they promised to be here today. There are local companies that will keep their promises. These people need to be closed down for fraud and false advertising. spent over an hour corresponding with their people and was never able to get answers or get transferred to the supervisors. There is no excuse for this pi.. poor business ethic and they need to be stopped!

I ordered amiibo on preorder just to receive an email THE DAY OF PICKUP that they don't have them in stock. They were on the shelves in other stores but the preorder for the store was never fulfilled. I called customer service just so they could confirm they are now sold out and told that they are sorry! Sorry doesn't get me the item. I am pissed! I thought preorder meant that I was guaranteed the item before it went on the shelf!

I purchased 3 items on the 10th of november, added additional item on the 11th, they changed delivery from the 15th to the 20th, made sure they new I did not want the original order changed as I like the service I got from the sales person. They said no problem. They came to make delivery but the one item I really needed was the microwave, this item did not arrive. It was part of original order. Called the store and asked if they could fix the problem, they could not even tell me why or when they would be able to deliver the microwave or why it was not on the order. I told them I needed today and they could replace with one in store, they said they only had open boxed items I told them I did not care as long as it was same or better quality and it would be delivered today. They told me they were unable to fulfill and could not even tell me when it would be delivered. I canceled the entire sale asked them to refund my credit card as tomorrow I will go else where and get what I needed. I'm going to cancel their credit card and never use them again.

HURST BEST BUY MANAGER - I BELIEVE IS A LIAR

Spend over a thousand dollars at hurst texas best buy - pulled out tax exempt card - which the guy at tech counter couldnt scan to work- the main manager was walking by and he said hey man can you help me out - manager pushed a couple of buttons and tax went away. 1 week later spend 200 and front cashier sent me to customer service to get tax off. They require sales tax form which i was ready to email them but they don't have a printer to print it out and they need a form in there hand. The customer service lady had the same male black haired manager to come over she said that the tax id card is expired and he told me sorry we need form. I said last week you had no problem last week with my over 1000 purchase and your buddy asked to help him out. He said sorry we can't do that any more and when was that - I SAID LAST WEEK - He said Oh well we can't do that any more so I come back with the form and after a big waste of time the lady at customer service assured me that the tax exempt form was good for a year. 1 week later tried to place an order online and tax id card ins't working - called cust. service and wasted more time for him to say that I need to send it in and wait 30 days. THE HURST BEST BUY MANAGER - I BELIEVE IS A LIAR - Why do they make it so hard to make a purchase - The tax forms don't expire - so its best buys policies that make my life miserable

Geek Squad keeps charging me

I signed up for Geek Squad services when I bought my laptop, maybe 3 years ago. Two years ago I had problems and tried to avail myself of Geek Squad services. They were totally useless. So I told them to cancel my subscription. The arrogant young man with whom I spoke poked at his computer keyboard and told me it was done. Now, for the past 2 years, Geek Squad has renewed my subscription against my wishes. Each time I have tried to find someone who will address this issue, but no online or in-store help has been found.

Got a TV that does not function as awny TV should be Expected to.

I called Best Buy, by phone, because I got a TV that: -Does not have an auto program function for an antenna. -Does not show all the basic channels. Instead, it uses four channels in order to play VCR/DVD, on 4 stations that I like to watch from time to time. -Does not have a separate menu area, in order to play a VCR/DVD player. -It does drop the sound on major TV stations like NBC, CBS, & ABC, approximately every 10-20 minutes, for 5 -10 minutes. -There are no Manual Buttons to use TV if want/need to. -Can not connect additional speakers, if I want surround sound, or listen to music. -I can go on & on.... -Problem: I called the Best Buy in Fresno, CA. 7550 N. Blackstone Ave. @ 446.0195, between 6:00 PM, to approximately 6:20 PM, because I want to exchange this TV for a TV with the, what I feel is expected features. So I simply told a female employee about what this TV does not do, in order already know what to exchange it for upon this, real poor quality "INSIGNA" brand TV's return. I had my list of disappointments written before I called. In the middle of my sentence, as I was in the process of asking, "Will the TV you suggested, be capable of AUX speakers for surround sound" ? The phone immediately had a "hang up dial tone". Poor customer service that will loose business in an already troubling economy. I am surprised that, even on a Black Friday, Best Buy would risk their reputation by selling such poor quality items for a quick dollar.

Black Friday special, in Store only on the best buy website Sharp - 50" Class (49.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD T… On Sale $179.99 I got to the store at 8am right as they opened, one of the first customers in the door, nobody else was back at the TV's before me, but somehow magically they were "out of stock". I tried the second store here in town, same story, out of stock, they tried to tell me that it was on sale for only yesterday (Thanksgiving) but the website says Black Friday Deal.

Wasted my time fighting the crowd and driving to both stores. Guess I should have just gone to Amazon instead.

Interesting the geek squad support blog has NO current posts. They delete anything contrary. Bought an in store open box tv. Never got delivered. No one knows where it is. Best Buy says wait. How long will that be? 3rd reschedule now. Filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company for non delivery. I expect a fight. NEVER EVER have something ordered and delivered!!!!!! In store pickup at time of purchase!!!! Just Best Buy playing with your money for as long as possible. Willing to go to the store and pick up. On hold for an hour so hung up. Guess I could make a 3RD trip to store and have them tell me be patient. I hate being placated. mba/cpa/controller

Agreed. Best Buy has the Worst phone support ever. I have driven to the store twice while sitting on the phone waiting for someone to answer.
