ARROGANT AND UNKIND APPROACH WITH CUSTOMERS | Best Buy review from Baltimore, Maryland

PURCHASED 2 COMPUTERS FROM BEST BUY RECENTLY. ONE OF THE COMPUTERS HAD BAD HARD DRIVE AND BEST BUY REFUSED TO REPLACE THE COMPUTER. WHEN CALLED CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS AND SPOKE WITH RESOLUTION SPECIALIST, SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE. THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID THAT HE WOULD SAY NO TO NEW COMPUTER EVEN BEFORE REVIEWING TIMELINES AND INFORMATION. HE THEN CALLED BACK AND SAID HE WOULD REVIEW (of course 2 days later after we kept calling for answer he denied request for new computer). HE WAS EXTREMELY ARROGRANT, RUDE AND HARSH. SINCE COMPUTER HAS ALREADY BEEN SENT TO GEEK SQUAD TWICE AND STILL HAVE PROBLEM WITH COMPUTER, WE WILL NOT BE USING THE COMPUTER. THERE IS ZERO CONFIDENCE WITH BEST BUY SO GOING TO COSTCO TO BUY NEW COMPUTER. UNFORTUNATELY, UNTIL NOW, WE WERE NOT AWARE OF THE SERVICE SITUATION AT BEST BUY.

Horrible Service | Best Buy review from Liverpool, New York

Best Buy Has horrible customer service. Same as above bought TV in 2011. Somehow, unknown to myself warranty expired May 2015, They saw only way they contact u is by email. Never got email. Its now of course July 2015. As of last nite TV shuts off by itself will stay on maybe 45 min then shuts off. Best Buy will not let me renew my warranity, but admit they only contact you through email?? REALLY!! have you heard of setting something to the house as u have my addresss? U have my phone number, but didnt call. Horrible customer service. I seriously WILL NOT buy a thing from them again. Today got bounced around 3 different departments 3 different places on phone for 2 hrs!! REDICULOUS!! And they first girl told me she couldnt make an appt didnt understand why and just bumped me through to the next person!! REALLY!! At that point I was ready to explode! AND you only contact your customers via email. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RECOMMEND BEST BUY TO ANYONE!!

Look, it's your fault that you let your warranty expire. Best buy, just like every other retailer in this country does.

Best buy along with every other retailer, doesn't have time to call every customer who buy service plans. Don't blame them because you deleted the email that was sent. Btw, learn how to speak English!

I have ordered a tablet and a doongle form bestbuy online. When cashing out and placing payment the online service wrote, problem reading order please try again later. Which I did, later that day I tryed again, with the same message. So much later it worked. To my surprise I was billed 3 times. My credit card charged me over limit fees and interests. Also payed for delevery fees. I mentioned this to Bestbuy and they never came back with a solution. So I do not recommend to anyone to purchase Bestbuys online service till they at least find out what the problem is and that they assure you that it will never happen again. They have my coordinates and know how to reach me but never did. So I rate Online Service and Customer service at Bestbuy 0 Stars. Because that is what I've received from them. Thank you and have a great day buying elsewhere.

bought virgin mobile phone for husband in hospital recovering from near fatal Harley accident, traumatic brain injury, needed phone to be able to reach me. Bought the insurance in case of lost or broken Cameron sells boy assured me that yes loss was covered. Well he lied to me. Phone was either lost or stolen in the hospital. I contacted best buy via email .the sales manager from best buy e-mailed me asking me for my phone number which I sent to him. Never heard from him. Meanwhile I keep getting e-mails from virgin mobile telling me to add money to my account. Also the phone number has already been reassigned to someone else. Will not ever shop there again either.

They dropped me. Out of no where. Yes, I was late...hit the questionnaire. Still paid, went to make the payment the next month. Hit the same questions. Called...not answering the same questions every month. Roadblocks to payment are not reimburseable in my mind...want a judge and class action attorney to see. I refuse to pay after telling you/answering questions the first time, then to answer the second and subsequent time..computers are made to remember...THEY CHOSE TO NOT WORK IT THAT WAY...not going to kiss you *** to tell me I am cancelled/then make me jump through hoops or the roadblocks that you put up to pay you!

Being charged for services I didn't order on a card I canceled a year ago please explain , I have call service department but the bill keeps coming with add charges, I am not paying this bill, I didn't order anything, haven't been in your store in more than a year. Tried to charge me for credit protection a year ago that I didn't order on a card that did' have anything on it, you guys are thieves praying on incent people, my next steps will be to talk to BBB and states attorney if this isn't resolved . And I am warning everyone I know about your credit services.

Purchased a new camera and received confirmation that it would be shipped to my address. Five days later they emailed that the order was cancelled due to unable to ship to a po box. After speaking with several representatives I was informed that I would have to reorder at a higher cost as the sale had ended. Unacceptable! Shipping policies should be disclosed, prices should be honored and a customer complaint should have been responded to.

FALSE ADVERTISE PRICE MATCHING POLICY | Best Buy review from Los Angeles, California

Went to Best Buy Woodland Hills to buy a Samsung Tablet advertised at Frys Electronics for an excellent price. I showed the manager a printed ad and also mentioned that I have an account with best buy. He refused to do a price match with absurd reasons like "it is only for one day" or "We can not give you a price that goes under our cost". I spoke with two more sales associates that were willing to accept the price match policy, but the Manager did not approved it. I grabed a flyer inside the store to ask the Manager why he did not accept it but just reply "Go online to find a full description of this price matching policy".

Does Best Buy match the price if it results in a price being below Best Buy's cost on a product?

Yes. So long as the price match requested is on an identical immediately available product and all other price match criteria are met.

Best Buy - Washing Machine Review from Medford, Oregon

I went into the local store here in Medford, OR with the intent to buy a specific washer. The match to my dryer. I stood in the store for about 20 minutes watching employees walk by and avoid eye contact. When I asked ones walking by if I could get help to buy this washer. They would call on their radio and ask if someone was not busy could come help us. Then they'd walk away. The worst part is there was over ten employees in the store and I was one of about 4 customers in the store. The worst part is I saw an employee leave about 5 minutes after I got there. When I was leaving to purchase a washer somewhere else I saw the same employee going back in with two arm loads of Blizzards. In the time I was there she had enough time to go on an ice cream run! I will never bother going into one of these stores again! What a waste of my time!
