Best Buy Phone Sales Person Are Liers

I was looking at the new Galaxy Note4S when one of the sales associates from the phone department walked to me and explained (lie) that if I trade my IPhone I didn't have to pay anything for the Galaxy. I had just purchase two new IPhone's (my wife and mine) and it sounded like a logic thing to do. When we got home we realized that they charged me full retail price ($699) for the two new phones and added a 24 months payment plan on booth of my Verizon lines and lets not forget that I gave them my other two new IPhones. I was extremely upset and called Verizon right away and they were really sorry about what the Best Buy people did. I called Best Buy and they kind of smiled at my face telling me that I signed the papers and it was nothing that they could do. I was really upset and didn't know what to do. The manager didn't want to speak with me and the sales guy who sold me the phone was hiding and avoided us. in the past I had great experience on the store but I truly held accountable Best Buy for employing a delinquent salesman and for having poor management. I will try to advice as many people as I can to stay away from this thieves.

This review is complete BS. There's no way this happened because you have to either use your card and sign or enter your pin, or use cash for the transaction...so you would have known that they charged you. What a bad lie!!

I would recommend you post this review along with the link to your review on the pissed off consumer site to the Best Buy's Facebook page. I would also try to see if the local Best Buy that did this to you has a facebook page and post it there.

Call them out. Get corporate involved, so sorry this happened.

What the *** is wrong with this place? I placed an order and within 15 mins my husband calls to tell me he just purchased the same thing, so I went on to my account and canceled my order. After receiving 2 confirmation emails that my order was canceled I felt good knowing that my account would not be debited and go on about by day. WRONG! Later that night, of course after they were closed and I receive an email my order had been shipped?? WTF? I contacted their joke of a customer service line and only to be told the only canceled was the free software that came with the computer. Are you kidding me? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY AGAIN, AND I HOPE NONE OF YOU DO!

Sounds like you made the mistake of using your debit card instead of a credit card. Now you know why it is much safer to use a credit card online.

The Worst | Best Buy review from New York, New York

I ordered an item. 3 days later I get a notice from Best Buy that says it will be 3 weeks for delivery...and feel free to cancel...HA HA...Can't cancel it...Customer service - 20 minutes and they can't cancel it...they say to refuse it...HA HA....I DON"T WANT IT> Then they tell me (after 20 minutes) that it is already with UPS -- with a tracking number...So first i get an email saying a 3 week delay then a few hours (and 30 min. later with customer service) I am told it is being shipped...so customer service clearly did not listen to me when I said I didn't want to wait 3 weeks - she could have told me it was being processed when we started the call...and that was the reason it could n't be cancelled...it was a gift and i heard later in the day it had arrived! go figure.

Sounds about right with Best Buy. I've noticed when ordering from them online that they ALWAYS give you the farthest possible ship date/receive date in the future. That way, when they deliver it early, which almost always happens, you will be happy with them!

Over the years I've purchased five computers, a couple tvs, and an iPad along with tons of movies, CDs, and games. I've always had good service with the company. Until today. I called last week because I realized my computer warranty was expired. When I spoke with the representative he found out instead of updating my information, the store made a new account, then sold the computer to the old account. This meant no email reminders about my warranty. He told me it'd be back under warranty in 5-7 days and I'd get an email verification. No email. So I called back and was told, no. They decided since I got a receipt it was my fault. Because a three year old receipt is so easy to read. Why tell me it was their fault only to turn around and blame me? I'll definitely be canceling my Best Buy card and won't be back.

It's *** but a lot of places have 14 day return policies on electronics nowadays. Of course that should all have been listed on the receipt. Some places are pretty lenient and will work with you in some way, overriding the return or letting you swap it with a different one from the shelf.

Best Buy = Awful Customer Service

I'm an elite member at Best Buy. I walk into my local store and purchase a $1,700 samsung tv. Take the TV home and pay someone to mount it on the wall. The installer says I'm missing a critical component and without it the tv will not work -- the one connect console. I go back to best buy and the *** manager tells me: sorry, nothing we can do. Either return it or go to Samsung online and order the $400 part. What?!?!? They couldn't have cared less. That's the typical service at best buy. Lesson: SHOP AT FRY'S. I went there to buy internet cable and the store clerks are nice, competent and actually care. Not sure where else to go but I know I'm done with the *ssholes at best buy. Will return my tv soon and will then find another place to buy it.

I'm confused did the tv not come with something that was supposed to be in the box or was it something that isn't included but you expected them to just give it to you? The fact that they were willing to return the tv implies to me that the component isn't normally provided with the tv.

Best Buy - never again

I will never buy another thing from this store again especially something that needs to be delivered. I bought an open box wall oven from a store in Houston and would to say I got a very good deal. They schedule a delivery time with me but had to reschedule twice after I have taken a day off from work. The second time they didn't even bother calling so I burned my whole day in the house waiting. When I called their customer service department they told me that the item I bought was mishandled and the glass door was broken. Well things happen, the agent said he will try to see what he can do but it turns out that he really couldn't do anything. He said I would need to go to the store and see what they could do for me as far as giving some concessions. Well I basically said I'd rather not go to all the hassle since i've been inconvenienced enough. I asked him to just refund me the money and i'll go get it somewhere else. He said the refund would have to mailed to me and would take 7 to 10 business days. That just grinds my gear. So at the moment I don't have the item I paid for, burned two days of vacation and now don't have the money to buy it somewhere else. In comparison, I bought something from Amazon, had a hassle free return and got my money credited back to me the following day. No wonder companies like Amazon killing Best Buy

I went to best buy on Yonkers to purchase the surface pro 3. I spent hours in the store trying to learn about the machine I was purchasing. When I got home the machine didn't do the things I expected. I went back to the store several times finally one of the sales people told me I didn't purchase the surface pro 3 and I purchased the surface 3. Now best buy is willing to refund my money however the accessories I purchased they refuse to refund and they also refuse to return the taxes I paid for the surface 3.

I ordered and paid for a product on line. When I went to customer pick up I was chastised for being too early and told " That's why we tell you to wait for your email". I said okay, I'm early. Can some one get it for me? No, that is another department. ( she can't call?) She then told me I could go find it myself on the floor. There are at least 5 employees hanging out at the front of the store, no customers in sight, and no one can help me? After asking an employee, who was straightening a shelf for help, I goy sent to the wrong department. I eventually wandered into the right place and one of the 3 employees standing there in a huddle, helped me get my product. I then returned to the customer pick up. The girl acted like I was bothering her and took forever to look up my order, the number which I had already given her. She kept stopping to talk to the other equally idle workers. Finally I got my order and left. All the while not another customer in sight. If I wanted to go to a place with no customer service I'd go to Walmart. Better yet, order from Amazon. I wouldn't even have to leave my house with free shipping!!
