Purchased a Garmin Vivosmart HR from Best Buy. Salesperson insisted the Regular size would fit my wrist, they sells lots of them everyday. I explained that I have XXL Hands. I bought it wore it for a few days and it doesn't fit. I called to exchange the fitness band. Best Buy does not stock the X-Large fitness bands in any store. They have to be custom ordered. That's why the saleperson insisted it would fit. Best Buy will not exchange the band unless I bring this one into the store or pay for a new band. I don't live in the same town. This is very incoinvenent for me. I contacted customer support and got the same response. I suggested that they order the correct size band and I can exchange when it come in. They said absolutely not. Worst Customer Service! Best Buy and Garmin will no longer get my money!

Best Buy Online Order Review from Bloomington, Minnesota

Warning to all: DO NOT buy anything online at Best Buy. I haven't had issues with their in-store purchases, but buyer beware for online shopping. Not only did I receive a standard album when I bought and paid for the advertised deluxe edition, their phone customer service was horrible; they didn't give a *** and just wasted my time without any resolutions. How is it that they *** me off, get my order, and won't even let me return my purchase for a full refund at the store when clearly everywhere on my electronic and paper receipts say I can?! They are sneaky thieves. Spend your money elsewhere where they actually care like Amazon and Target. Please save yourself from negative experiences, and stay away from Best Buy online. I want you all to avoid the annoyances I had to endure from Best Buy's incompetence and total disregard.

On Nov 23rd i placed an order for a laptop which is shipped on Nov 25 but never received it even after 2 weeks. Even on UPS site their is no updates(scans) after Nov 30th. I called the best buy customer care 4 times and UPS customer care 3 times. UPS customer care said the item is lost so I need to call best buy and best buy should initiate the investigation. Every time i called the best buy customer care person said they will get back to me immediately but even after waiting for 1 week i didn't hear anything from best buy. I send 3 emails to bestbuy customer care their is no reply. This is the worst customer care experience I ever had.

I placed an order online for I store pick up. I was charged not only the $143 for the order but also $65. After 3 hours and 3 different agents in the phone and going to the store, nobody knows why I was charged the $65. Today, due to this mysterious charge I was also charge $300 in courtesy fees and was told that it will take 1-2 business days to review my email. They better hope to resolve this before my autopays go through or they'll owe me even more.

Best Buy is full of ***. They say that will price match, but they find every excuse they can, not to do it. I found a tv on walmart.com and took it to best buy in Homewood Il to match, but the sales customer service associate glat out lied in my face. She told me that the price on Walmart.com had changed and they wouldnt honor it. Homewood Il. Best Buy, will never get another nickle of my money!

After waiting 20 mins in the computer area, I was the only customer. I grabbed someone to help me. I was waiting for someone to be free at the main desk to ask for help. I gave them the ad, the computer pictured that I wanted to purchase. Had been unable to find on the floor. It is an older model he says but they have 15 in stock. Okay good, I do get to look at it before I buy it right? WRONG! I am buying this computer for my 11 yo grandson - I would like to see what it looks like. Keeping in mind that I just bought a computer there 4 weeks ago for myself and had a great experience. NO! I couldn't look at it because the box is closed. And I would have purchased your 2 year Geek Squad Plan for $169.00 on top of the $429.00 computer. SHAME ON YOU!

This is the policy everywhere. If they don't have a floor model, you won't see one on display.

Sometimes I'll go to a store that I know has it at a higher price to look, then go back to the cheaper store to buy. They can't open the box.

If you decide you don't like it, and don't purchase it, they have to sell it as used, open box. Not happening.

Best Buy Princess Anne in Virginia Beach has the worst customer service. They made me wait on the phone for 30mins twice while trying to 'research' my question about a product that I purchased. What really bothers me is the gact that employees there do not know what they are selling, and do not care about their customer after they have sold their product. There is No excuse for a company this big to NOT answer a customer's phone call, much worse make her wait for thirty minutes while he never cones back to answer the phone! I ended up coning into the store after the second time they made me wait. But you don't have to believe me, just check and call them and see what happens!

Best Buy terrible customer service

Went to a Best Buy in Roseville, MI to look at computers. I have always shopped at this store but this time when I asked questions the guy just pointed over there where they always are. Nice service. Then went to computers and asked about the Dell computers, another guy took me to the display walked away and never came back. Left me there. I was so upset on how I was treated, now I will have to go somewhere else for my computer. Plus there were several employees just standing around talking and did not want to move.

My dishwasher purchase and installation was a complete disaster and I had such a horrible experience w. I'm not saying this is any particular person's fault, but bestbuy's sales and appliance delivery system is really outdated which prevents bestbuy's customer service representative to fix things for me. I was supposed to just wait at home for 4 hours out of 1 day for this but I ended up waited 16 hours out of 3 days and called at least 10 times to get this done. My origin appointment for dishwasher delivery and installation was Nov 21th, which bestbuy were supposed to deliver, install and haul-away at the same time. However I received a call that morning from the installer saying the warehouse didn't have the dishwasher available. Then I called to reschedule this for Nov 25 which I took a day off. However, I only got dishwasher dropped at my home without anyone to install it, plus the dishwasher installation kit was not delivered. Then I spent at least 2+ hours on 5+ calls to re-schedule the installation. I can't take any time off so I have to reschedule it for Dec 5th while having this extra dishwasher sitting in my small kitchen for over a week. I spent another 3+ calls trying to make sure the installation kit came with the installer on Dec 5th. Again, it failed. I have to buy another installation kit myself so that the installer can install the dishwasher because bestbuy's system is so disconnected. Ironically, on Dec 5th, someone showed up in the morning trying to haul away my dishwasher and I told him that another installer is coming and will do that. Now I expect to spend another 3+ calls trying to get a refund for my installation kit which never arrived. All the representative I talked were having trouble connecting those several items of a single order together (dishwasher, deliver, installation kit, haul away, installation service). I am really unhappy about the entire experience and probably will never buy an appliance from bestbuy .

Best Buy "Price Match Guarantee" - not quite

Best Buy’s “price match guarantee” isn’t really guaranteed and has many “strings” attached. They only match “selected” competitors from their predetermined list. Bought a Xfinity arris touchstone cable modem DOCISS30 from them($199.99 plus tax) on 11/23/15. Next day found the same product on line (CMS- Cablemodem site ,516 N Ogden Ave, Chicago, IL) for $169.99 - free shipping, no tax). Best Buy refused to match the price - both at their local store and their phone in customer service department. Thier comment was “It’s not on our list”. CMS is a reliable dealer with good reviews and good rating on the sites that review similar dealers. So Don’t depent on the “Price match guarantee”.
