Delivery and installation

We bought a fridge,stove, microwave, washer and dryer. I was told it would be delivered and all installed.

The installer said he could not put the stove in due to no safety bracket. I asked if he could at least level it out. He did not! Then he said the fridge would not fit..

looks like maybe 1/2 cm too high... then he could not install the microwave saying we don’t do that! He left me with food laid out on the table defrosting and never connected the fridge being it was right in its position and could not go completely go in. I am a small female..

I had to balance out the fridge and it fit perfect, after all my ice cream melted. Now I have to find someone to install a microwave when I was told everything would be installed!

And there are scratches on the dryer! Not happy at all!!

Can't get any satisfaction

july 7th went into store with my grandson who is 8years old I wanted two things one upgrade my phone and get a phone for my grand son the salesman name Kenny was helping me and other customers so by the time for him to upgrade my phone he assured me everything would transfer to new phone, it didn't he said I wouldn't be able to tell the difference on phone not true told him for the 8 year old need protection for the phone he said they don't have a case to fit the phone n or did he not tell me I didn't have insurance on the phone which all my phones with sprint has insurance then he said would not be able to finish my phone down load one hour before he get off if I want him to finish come back two days I left with out any protection for my grandchild phone was not even offered warranty on his phone so I was rush into buying and now before I got back to the store my grandsons phone slips out of his hand and shattered long story short went back to best buy they make you feel as if it was all my fault and basically didn't want nothing to do with me brett the manager on duty told me flat out cant do anything about it i left and call the warranty office they were trying to help me told me to go back to best by and call them I did that shone the manager on duty remember me and said yes I wish I could help you I really do but I cant and now i'm out of money and phone for my grandson ,i am very sadden disappointed that I always shop at best buy and felt like they should have traded it out for the factory warranty. my grandson went back to Virginia Dead with out his phone I am this on face book telling everyone to be ware about the salesman at the best buy in bluffton sc.

I bought a Cannon Handycam. I asked about the return policy. I was told I had 14 days from point of purchase for a full refund. I was NEVER told about a restocking fee if I returned the item. When I explained this to the store clerk, the store manager, and then called corporate, I was told there was nothing that could be done. I wouldn't have purchased the item had I known. Just buy from Amazon or some other online retailer that doesn't have antiquated return policies. $54 to restock the item?!!!

There's a screen that comes up before buying cameras telling you this. The return policy is 8 years old now. How can you buy from amazon if you ignore text on the screen?

Bought a fridge scheduled a water line install for ice maker. plumber calls i say are u bringing the ice maker because my fridge is supposed to have one and it doesnt. Turns out i have to buy one. So cancel the installation because im not spending more money on something it was supposed to have. Then same day was supposed to get a range hood fan nope never showed and only sent me a conformation after i called them. So call back get put on hold for an hour and 26 minutes brittany answers and goes into a long thing about a hurricane i said i dont have time for this theres 40 minutes left in my delivery window so listen to me and fix this. Takes my info asks multiple times for the same info. Then goes back into talking about call centers and hurricanes i said if you dont help me and stop talking over me im going to speak to a manager she then hangs up on me! Never got my delivery or a call and wasted hours of my time. Ive bought multiple appliances and every time its horrible no more buying at best buy.Canceled everything ill go elsewhere!

The companies that actually provide good customer service anymore are few and far between it seems. Best to find a small, local company selling what you need or want and buy from them, even if you have to pay a bit more.

None of the big box stores have sterling customer service. Do a search on this site and you will see.

My 75” tv made a popping noise and was told it was an impact . Geek squad warranty doesn’t cover this? Well today Best Buy lost a valuable customer. I was told this plan when I bought it covers everything for 5 years? Well I guess it doesn’t? I will buy all my appliances from Mentor tv from now on this is bs. I’m out over 2500.00 dollars counting this bs warranty. I’m going up later and have my Best Buy card cancelled. I got ripped off 400 dollars on this warranty. Everytime you go to use a warranty there’s always something or excuse “well it doesn’t cover that”. No more Best Buy no more you just lost a customer that spends a lot in your stores both here and Florida

Stores love to sell customers these warranties because they make alot of money from them. The key to buying them is to actually read the information they will provide you prior to agreeing to buy the warranty, line by line to see what is covered and what is not, etc.

Never, ever believe what the salesman tells you, eg., it covers everything for any reason, etc. Bottom line is these things are usually a waste of money as the manufacturer's warranty is for a certain length of time and thus covered by the manufacturer. Most appliances and electronic items go bad within the manufacturer's warranty period. You would be better just buying an item, forgetting the warranty nonsense and saving the money you would have spent for it to buy a new item when the one you just bought breaks.

Remember what P.T. Barnum said about gullible people.

Poor Customer Service

Found Photoshop Elements for sale online at Best Buy on 8/8/2019, When I went to the store on 8/9/2019, it was full price ($99.99)! "No problem," the clerk says. "If it goes on sale within 30 days, Best Buy will make price adjustment." On 8/27/19, I noticed it was back on sale so I take my receipt into the checkout counter who says "Yes, that's right! ! But you need to go to Customer Service." I stand in line for 15 minutes (25 clerks in store, 5 customers-3 of us are in customer service line) and she tells me "Sorry, price adjustment is only good for 15 days." Buy local or Amazon......Best Buy is not the "Best Buy"

Waiting over three months had three deliveries and final item (stove) came with numerous damage. Went to the store with picture and their reimbursement for 8 store visits, time off for false deliveries and extensively damaged product was only $170. The item was 1,600 without deli ery cost.

BEST BUY HURT MY WINDOW

I am on disability due to MS and have a LOT of anxiety and it is worse in the heat. I can not call on the phone, it makes me sicker! I have a huge email rabbit trail they have put me through, AFTER they damaged my aluminum window frame and would NOT let me retain the a/c they delivered here. the installers PHYSICALLY took the unit they delivered, and that I paid for in advance. I have pictures that support what I have the damage to my window. I CAN NOT TALK ON THE PHONE!!!!

purchased 5/29/19 for $799.00 plus warranty plus 3 years extended warranty. 6 weeks later it developed a crack and screen went from partially blacked out to total blackout. Best Buy buy would not honor the warranty or make any concessions. I will never buy or recommend Best Buy to anyone. $799.00 plus tax down the tube.

That's because tvs don't crack on their own. Physical damage is not covered but thats still on best buy to cover you. Next time don't break the tv.

On Saturday July 13th my daughter picked out a laptop that she liked at the Greensburg, PA Best Buy. The sale price was $699.00. She could also get an additional $100.00 off with a student account. We told the sales rep that we would order the laptop the next day after my daughter started her student account. On Sunday July 14th, the price of the same laptop was now $850.00 with no student discount. I called the store and was told that the sales end on Saturday evening. I feel that this was a bait and switch as the sales clerk never mentioned that the sale would end. I guess I'll shop Amazon from now on.
